Harris Diatomaceous Earth Powder Duster with 6 Inch Extension Nozzle

Use the Harris powder duster for application of diatomaceous earth, boric acid and more. With an extension nozzle of 6 inches, the duster is perfect for reaching tough areas with a light coating of powder. Once filled, screw the cap on tight and turn the duster upside down. Puff into areas where necessary, such as cabinets, window sills, garbage cans, around baseboards, beneath refrigerators or stoves, and on pet beds.

Title: So simple but so useful.

Title: Works ok once you learn how to..
Review: I bought this to use with my diatomaceous earth food grade powder. It's a little tricky to use. Diatomaceous earth states to just powder a thin layer. Read some where, not sure if on DE website or a review or some other website, that insects will likely avoid going over it if it's laid on thick. Well the problem with this is when you squeeze this spreader big burst come out. What I've learned to do is just fill it about an inch or two and shake it turn it upside down a squeeze lightly. This way you can get a thin layer most of the time. I still haven't perfected it yet but works this way for me most of the time. When necessary, I'll use my mouth a regular straw to blow and spread the big burst that came out of this spreader/blower. Works well just need to learn how to maneuver it. I sometimes mix a little boric acid with it to spread between counters and stove and counter and refrigerator as a preventive measure. I also use it around the outside foundation of my house to keep spider's and any other critters that may want to come inside my house especially during the summer time. I hate bugs and will use preventive measures to keep them away. I've been using for years and it's worked for me. Also if you go to the diatomaceous earth website you'll see it also has health benefits a lot of other benefits too. Using this as a Spider critter/Bug preventive has worked for me.

Review: This product was very easy to use and does the job, projects pesticide powder out a decent distance (a couple feet) and pretty evenly. I'd recommend using this over the bottles the powders are sold in.

Review: Very simple design which works perfectly.The large bellows design puffs much better than the bulb style puffers, as it really blows some air out meaning you deliver more powder with more force.I needed to puff some wasp nest killer powder into a nest above head height. Most bottle only push powder out when pointing down.This allows you to shoot powder deep into the entrance of the nest at any angle.Well worth the money.
