Title: Perfect Replacement for our prior Detector
Review: Our prior detector did not have a battery to replace so after several years it started to chirp and we had to replace it. This one operates with a battery. It is the same brand and shape as our old one so it was easy to just clip it into the existing ceiling bracket. Time will tell, but so far it works great.

Title: Very easy to put up but hard to open for battery
Review: I had this in my home when I moved in about 71/2 yrs ago. Had to move it to another location in a hall. I put up anchors with screws & glad this replacement was exactly the same. Only problem is I always have to open the battery casing with a screwdriver.. my last one eventually broke on the one side. But battery fit well & works. Guess it lasted a good while though.

Review: This unit is very similar to the one we had for over 15 years. CO2 is a danger & we now feel safe again with the new alarm in place. The unit is just a simple plug in, but we did have to read up on where to put it. Placing it correctly is important so study up & get it right.

Review: Quickly mounted to the wall and put batteries in. Tested. Made beep noises that split eardrums. Due to the battery nature of it it can mount anywhere close to the ground to detect CO quickly.I wont truly know if it works, and I hope I never need to, but appears solid.

Review: Haven’t used it yet, but for the price it’s a no brainer. Carbon monoxide is a life threatening hazard and buying one or 2 of these carbon monoxide detectors is an essential for any household. I like that this is battery operated and can be placed anywhere.
