Title: Awesome addition to our RV, it's just like "going" at home
Review: We were super excited to get to add this baby to our RV. We replaced our old, cheap, plastic, short RV toilet with this guy after reading so many reviews. Exactly what we were hoping for! Taller unit, porcelain bowl, soft close lid, water holes around the entire bowl for a cleaner flush and a super easy install. Did I mention a soft close lid?! Man, being this excited about a toilet sure makes me feel old!

Title: SO SIMPLE!
Review: Replaced the toilet in my 40' Allegro Bus that had a toilet with a electrically actuated slide valve (WHY???) A toilet with a circuit board that of coarse became unreliable! Back to a simple foot peddle dump and water valve. Installation was simple and it is a high quality unit. You can spend less but you get what you pay for usually.

Title: Easy Installation, gasket leaks
Review: Overall an improvement from our original toliet. Clean design, easy to install, work great for first month but recently stopped holding water in the bowl. No amount of fiddling with the gasket has improved things. I will try a new gasket soon but feel like it should last longer than 1 month.

Title: Best replacement for RV toilet
Review: We use this toilet as a replacement for a Thetford toilet that we had replaced twice. The reviews on the Dometic were wonderful. And we went by those reviews and purchased the Dometic RV toilet. I love it! It flushes very quietly, does a very good clean job of it, has a wonderful seal against smell and very comfortable.

Review: My existing Dometic toiled in the RV had developed a crack in the bowl and was leaking water so I purchased this replacement Dometic which seems to be identical except for the wooden, slow closing toiled seat. Swap in and swap out, very easy installation. Definitely a quality, even though pricey, product.

Review: I had an issue when the product arrived and i contacted the seller about it. He have taken me in charge very promptly to fix the problem and he have gone beyond my expectations. Review: It is fantastic to have a comfortable RV throne!The original RV toilet cracked when travelling back from the Canadian East coast to B.C. If I knew replacing the toilet would only take 5 days for delivery, 5 mins to install with a wrench... I would not have wasted time repairing the cracked one..!I was pleased to see it came, pre-lubricated with very easy instructions to follow. This purchase made everything efficient, easy, matched the bathroom and saved me some money! It was $100 less then the local RV store.Good buy! Hopefully this review doesn't jinx it!

Review: The toilet itself is wonderful and we are basically pleased with it. The only thing we have fault with is that after flushing, the water in the toilet itself should hold about 12 ounces of water. Instead it only fills the toilet with about 4 oz which just barely covers the stopper. This causes us to actually have to push the pedal down carefully a second time to have the water level in the bowl come up to where it should be. The seal itself is not leaking. This is a pain to continually have to do this each time. In the Domectic flyer it says that the weep holes should run after flushing to bring the water level up but they work perfect when flushing but they dont run after to bring the water level up. When we phoned Dometic about this problem the customer service rep was very brusque with us and basically told us that that was the way it was and nothing else could be done and we would always have to push the pedal down twice. We have installed 5 RV toilets in our many rvs in our RV park and have always had the proper amount of water in them. We are disappointed with the water level and also with the service representative from Dometic who could have been more forthcoming.
