Title: fun to play with
Review: we got this and it was a fun easy and enjoyable toy set the play mat/field was good it was wrinkly the line men were harder to set up (being that they only have the three "supporters" not evenly distributed for weight)the goal posts are definitely a little flimsy and the little latch was definitely hard to keep closed and that's about it it it is a good product overall

Title: Favorite toy
Review: Last October I allowed my then 6 year old to spend his birthday money on this toy. I was extremely hesitant to allow him to spend his own money on this & even tried to talk him out of it. I like to allow my kids to make their own choices when it comes to money that was intended as a gift to them, but then on the other hand, I didn’t want to let my 6 year old spend 20 something dollars on some army guys & a piece of felt. But I let him & I am so glad that I did. This little toy has been played with every single day since it was purchased. Every day. Yes it’s basically army (football) guys & some felt but if your kids have a big imagination, it will keep them occupied for hours. I never in a million years thought this was would be a toy that gets used daily, but I was wrong. It even gets used multiple times a day. Not one of figures (football or referees) or the field goal posts have gotten broke (& my kids are rough on toys), & the field has held up really well too. Some days they use the guys that came with it, other days they use different “guys.” Tonight all the figures are in the box they came in (another plus) in their bedroom & they are sleeping so I attached a picture of the field with the toys they were using tonight. These toys & the car in the picture don’t come with the set. Definitely one of the best toy purchases ever made in this house & other kids that come over really enjoy it too.

Title: These are such great toys for a boy who loves sports
Review: These are such great toys for a boy who loves sports. It's hard to find sports toys in stores that aren't associated with specific teams. My son had been asking for football men with a field but we couldn't find any until we came across these. He's had them (we also got Baseball Guys and Basketball Guys) for about 2 months and still plays with all of them daily. I do think they're a little pricey (I think they should be more like $15-$20) since they're basically just army men (a little bigger and heavier) with a felt field and thin plastic goals. However since they're the only toys like this on the market they can sell them for a little more! I have seen some reviews that they don't stand up very well and tip over easily - we haven't had that problem. I did see someone answer a question and said you can dip the bottom in boiling water for a few seconds and reshape them if they don't stand up well. The carrying box is great and is plenty big enough that a child can fit the field and mean back inside. Overall it's a great purchase that encourages the imagination!

Review: My son has always loved little plastic army men. Now he’s super into football & absolutely loves these. The only thing was he thought there might be a miniature football. It’s attached to a player. Lots of fun - maybe even more so for older child. Awesome holiday delivery, too, right before Christmas. Thank you so much!

Review: We've got three little boys, ages 8, 5 & 3, who love the hockey, soccer, football & baseball guys. For little ones who like "guys", these toys really encourage imaginative play... for us, preferred over video games or movies... very fun to watch.The main reason I'm providing a review is to detail how I was able to 'fix' the only problem we've had with the 'guy' series... Inevitably, one or more of the guys will show up unable to stand up, either because his base is 'warped' or he's bent at an angle that won't allow him to stay upright. This also works for guys who are holding bent bats, hockey sticks, etc...Heat a pot of water to just about boiling.Immerse the portion of the 'warped' guy in the hot water for about 30 seconds.Stand the guy up in the sink on a plate or some other flat surface and hold him up in the preferred position.Run cold water over the guy for about 15 sec.Once you've run the cold water over the guy, this effectively 'resets' the position of the guy.If you haven't got the guy 'just right', you can do it over. There shouldn't be a problem with repeated temperature excursions.Some pointers;Standard warnings about working with hot liquids... should only be done by an adult or supervised. Be careful! Don't immerse your hand in the hot water.Don't immerse the whole guy, just the part you're trying to fix.If you need to fix the base as well as a bat or other spot, do them separately.Hope this helps.
