Title: Book is great but Amazon & paperbacks is a bad combo!
Review: The book is great! but Amazon & paper back books are VERY bad combo!!! because they donât care if they treat them like crap so they look like crap!!! Any other company wouldâve listed these is imperfect & discounted, Amazon throws them in a box (doesnât bother to protect them) & chargers us full price!!! So we either get to go through the hassle or returning them or get stuck & deal with it!!!

Title: I bought this book because it looked like the same cover as the on my mom used ...
Review: I bought this book because it looked like the same cover as the on my mom used to have. Now that my husband and I are expecting our first child, I wanted to have the same book to look through when finding the perfect name for our baby. Unfortunately, though it is much the same, this book is much smaller than the one I was expecting. Mom's book was a couple of inches thick and had a lot of appendices and extra information. This one is probably 1/4-1/2 inch thick. It does have some additional articles/information, such as a list of celebrity children's names, famous pseudonyms, odd and unusual names, popular names lists, etc., and I don't have the other book to compare to directly, but I don't believe it could possibly have fit all of the information from the other edition we had into this much smaller book.On the positive side, it does have a good selection of names with origins and meanings. We have enjoyed looking through and trying different ones on for size. Overall, this is a decent baby name book- just not quite the one I was expecting/looking for.

Title: It has been updated.
Review: I love this book. It has been updated, so it is a little different than the one made in 2015. I didn't like how the second page of girl names was missing, but I can fix that with my book that I got in 2015. This book doesn't have the birthstones and flowers of the month, but we didn't look for them in the older book anyways, so I'm still happy with this one that I just bought.

Review: Not only are there entire pages simply missing, but this book is tiny and leaves out SO many names.Never would have bought it if knew they cut it in half.But the terrible quality of selling a book with completely blank pages, pg 20, 32, 76.... not okay.

Title: Great if you want to stick to classic old-school names.
Review: This is the same book my mom had in the 80s. My husband and I were completely overwhelmed by other baby books, especially since we were set on choosing a traditional name. This probably is the exact same set of names as the edition my mom had. So while itâs not for someone wanting a more unique name this is great for those wanting to pare down the options to a classic list.
