Title: I made an assumption about the material
Review: I was hoping for more of a polished plastic versus a flat matte surface. Upon reviewing the product description, it my my assumption of the product.Very lightweight, but feels sturdy and strong. Cleans very well and doesn't seem to absorb or have issues with cleaning off food oils from the bowl.I can say it is very useful and a great value. Just the aesthetic appearance is the only con.

Title: Top layer is literally peeling off into food after minimal use
Review: Have only owned these for 3 months and they weren't used daily. I don't use a dishwasher, so the surface damage is from it not holding up to near boiling water or not holding up to the microwave. Since all the damage is inside the bowl, it is definitely related to the heat the water is at or the food reaches from m microwave. Whatever the case may be, it is literally peeing apart to the point that it is getting into food even if I try to take off loose pieces first.I don't like the idea of eating an unknown amount of plastic with my Ramen, so I'll have to eat the cost of these. I need to just throw them away and look for something different.Peeling starting by just looking like a scratch mark. If you see that and are within the timeframe to return them, don't wait to do so.

Title: Great Durable Bowls
Review: I absolutely loved these bowls! It’s everything described in the advertisement. I use it for almost everything from ramen to cereal and salad. It’s thick enough to protects my hands from stove hot food. It’s plastic and can’t break even when drop, and is dishwasher friendly. The size is perfect for our household. The yellow one is my favorite because it’s such a bright color. I plan to buy more but this time I will focus on the colors.

Review: We purchased these bowls to replace some old glass bowls. They are a great size for udon noodles. Clean up is easy and they do not stain. One interesting thing is saran wrap does not stick to these bowls.

Review: Looked around at my local Asian stores and these were sold individually for a lot more money. Was pleasantly pleased with the size and quality. They are solid with a nice weight. Doesn’t have a cheap plastic feel. Definitely large enough for a large bowl of ramen. I buy frozen ramen from local restaurants and they fit perfectly. The matching spoons were nice too.

Review: Though a little smaller than I anticipated (yes, I know the measurements are right there) these appear to be excellent bowls. They are big enough for three packs of Ramen and a "Jethro" size bowl of cereal. These will also replace some mixing bowls. The only downside for me is that cling wrap doesn't stick. I know that now, so it isn't an issue. For the price, especially compared to other ramen bowls, these are a bargain.

Review: Arrived just in time for a dinner I was making for a group of people. Broth, sticky rice, chicken, and veggies...it looked beautiful! They transport so much better than my old porcelein ramen bowls and I love the colors. Loved them so much I bought another set as a gift.
