Title: Arrived on time, seem to be good quality
Review: Package arrived on date promised, nice packaging. We haven’t put them in place yet so I cannot speak to sturdiness, etc. No directions for set-up were included but pretty easy to figure out. They appear to be good value for money.

Title: Retrofit of the bait dispensing rod.
Review: Several have complained about the bait rod not staying in place. I bent the rod as shown and it locks the rod in place when the lid is in the closed position.

Title: NOT pet safe! Low quality, poorly designed item!
Review: This bait station is NOT pet/child safe since any baits placed inside it are not secured by rods or retaining hardware, and could easily be carried out of the bait station by vermin. For the price charged for these bait stations (I paid roughly $68 in April 2023 for a 6-pack) and the claims made in the product listing, these are exceedingly low quality. The plastic used in the production of these bait stations is thinner than average (as compared to Tomcat/Motomco brand stations) and it is doubtful that it can hold up to any degree of outdoor exposure for an extended period of time. I have Tomcat/Motomco bait stations that have been in steady use for more than 5 years with little to no signs of wear…this set of bait stations doesn’t make the cut for a variety of reasons. I began my return before I even got the item fully unboxed since the trash quality of this item is fully evident as soon as you get it halfway unpacked!
