How did we get our start?

To revolutionize the auto aftermarket dominated by incumbent brands like 3M & Suntek, which are currently controlled by private equity firms or multinational corporations. These brands impose artificial barriers through exclusive dealership programs, creating unnecessary transaction friction for installers. Our goal is to establish a seamless delivery system, eliminating these barriers and increasing profitability. By empowering installers with higher profits, we enable them to invest more in other areas, ultimately ensuring our customers' success in their markets.

Title: Seems good to me
Review: The film came packaged well and is relatively easy to work with. It is medium, thick with thinner and options available. I found if you use an unreasonably large amount of Windex application process is easier.

Title: a bit complicated but functional
Review: A bit complicated to work with. Doesn't come with instructions or tools. But once you get past the difficulty, it does seem functional and stays put well. It seems to provide some added security to the windows.I wish it was a little bit easier to work with or came with some sort of instructions, but it's easy enough to find tutorials online.

Title: Professional grade film
Review: This security film is plenty strong to put onto residential windows. That said, if it's your first attempt at window film/tint, you're going to want to get some practice before you fully commit. You need some professional installer gloves (the kind that don't adhere to the stickum), a wide and firm squeegee, a stainless razor knife, a quality sprayer and a solution to get it installed. They recommend 6:1 distilled water to J&J baby shampoo. That translates to six ounces of soap into a gallon jug of distilled water. I can't stress how important this step is. Distilled water will not leave residue. Everything has to be perfectly clean if you want to avoid haze/bubbles/etc. Prep is probably 80% of the work. After you have a pristinely cleaned window, you can spray and apply the film. Be sure to watch the install video they provided at least five times. Procedure matters. It can be done by anyone if you follow the instructions - do not cut corners. If you have a window in direct sun, try installing a small piece. Get all the way through and give it a couple days. If it doesn't bubble, you got it right. If it bubbles, spray down with ammonia, cover it with a black trash bag and remove after an hour or so of direct sun. The ammonia will dissolve the adhesive and it should pull off easily.

Title: Took me awhile...
Review: Let me say that this wasn't the easiest thing for me to do. I was using it to cover two side-by-side windows in a small art studio located a few feet from our hot tub. We felt it was a good idea to render the windows shatter-proof due to their proximity. Lucky for me, the windows are 24" wide, which meant I didn't have to cut the film to size. Even with that in mind, I had to stick and restick it several times on each window to ensure there were no air bubbles. I also had the proper tool, the felt lined squeegee in multiple sizes. Because I was an inexperienced installer, it took way longer than it should have. But ultimately I am happy with the film, and it provides peace of mind that the window won't shatter if someone accidentally falls into it, or if someone intentionally tries to break in.

Review: The film measures 29-1/8" - not 30" - otherwise it looks to be ok.

Title: Challenging to install cleanly; expect to be left with some bubbles
Review: I wanted to try this film for it's UV protection, to see if I can stop the relentless fading of my carpet & sofa from the afternoon sun that comes in through my south-facing living room windows. It's rather thick, due to its primary intent as a security feature, and this thickness makes applying the film a bit trickier than applying thinner, decorative, flexible vinyl window films (such as used in storefronts). It was remarkably difficult to locate the edge of the backing to peel it off.I first cut the film into separate lengths for each of the four window panes it would be applied to, so that we didn't have to wrestle with the roll as we were applying. Then we started/peeled the backing, stuck the top in place on the glass, and began to work our way down with the plastic squeegees (purchased separately) to press the film tight against the glass, inch by inch, peeling the backing away as we went.It is definitely easier with more than one person. It feels like it would be very frustrating to do alone. We had taken great pains to clean the windows thoroughly before applying, so as to minimize any dirt & streaks sealed beneath the film (which would no longer be able to get wiped away). In spite of all that cleaning effort, we found that any tiny little imperfection sitting on the glass caused a sort of "tent pole" effect, as a microscopic high point for the film to lay over and have some air space around. Since the film is so thick, it doesn't have the same flexibility as thinner films to bend around these high points, so there is a kind of "minimum size" of the bubbles. As a consequence, the final result has a number of small bubbles trapped under the film, as I tried to illustrate in a few photos here.Up close, it looks unsightly, but from a distance it's fairly easy to ignore and just look past the bubbles.I'm sure a lot of it comes down to skill and experience, of which I personally have little in this procedure, but I do have a little experience, with thinner materials, and I can immediately see the thickness of this material makes the application more demanding. All in all, with cleaning and cutting and fumbling and applying, the whole task was done in about an hour and a half.It remains to be seen how effective the UV blocking will be, but if I am able to make a good observation on that over the months, I will return to comment on it here.
