Title: Easy to use even for beginners
Review: I have always wanted a metal detector. I researched and found that this one might be one of the easier to use and it is. It is also light weight and easy to put together. I also like the fact that it is waterproof and you can use it in shallow water.

Title: Very Functional, A Few Design Flaws
Review: The most important thing, this metal detector works and works pretty well. Operation is simple enough for a newbie like me to get started pretty easily. Then, it has advanced features that I'll have to spend some time learning. I was able to detect things accurately & easily while testing, and then when I took it outside, to places where I knew there was buried cable or what have you, it worked there too.So, design issues. It comes with a nice little bag... that only fits if you take the unit apart 100%. I tried leaving just the detector and first length of handle in place, but it just won't fit unless you break it down all the way. Frankly, that's a pain.Other than that, this is a great unit and I look forward to having some fun with it as I learn the more advanced behaviors.

Title: Works well
Review: I'm not sure if it's an 'old people' right of passage thing, or what...but my husband all of a sudden thought it would be cool to have a metal detector and wants to scan areas we go 4-wheeling, that are remote, just to see what he can find. This detector works really well. Easy to follow instructions and easy to use. Lightweight and ergonomic, but seems to be made well in materials, craftsmanship and incorporating new technology. Has located metal that we were not able to see before-hand. Makes for a neat party-trick, I guess. He really seems to like it. Shipped and delivered quickly. Packed well and no damage occurred in shipping. Reasonably priced compared to similar products on the market and the quality of this item. I recommend.

Title: Fun hunting for treasure!
Review: I used a "kids" version of a metal detector, and while it was a little fun, it just wasn't very sensitive. This is an "adult" version, and it works much better. It can detect things that are deeper, and it indicates what the item might be (type of metal) so you can decide if you want to dig it up or move on to something else. Setup was easy and fast, and it even comes with a battery. I have a list of places to go exploring and hunting, including the acreage in our new house.

Title: Fun
Review: I’ve always wanted one of these and when the opportunity to get one presented itself, I got it. It was easy to set up and I was surprised at all the “goodies” included. The carrying bag is nice to keep everything in while getting to the “hunting site”, and to drop my dug up treasures into the bag while hunting. Although I’ve only gone around the local park and found nothing of great value, it is fun and a good way to get out for a walk and exercise. I’m still learning how to get it dialed in to find what I want and so far it’s been great fun.
