Title: The Heart of The Band
Review: The post Robbie Robertson Band was my Band. I saw them live four times. The first time I saw them live was overwhelming. When Richard left is I felt like I lost a friend. This is the best of the three man Band’s albums with a Live Richard Manuel song to close the set. I love all of these songs. Jim Weider Plays some especially tasty guitar. Levon, Rick, and Garth kept the heart of the Band going. Great car CD.

Title: Best of their last 3 albums ..
Review: Jericho , High On The Hog , and Jubilation were the last 3 that the guys produced ..These tracks are taken from these last 3 cool Albums .. This is great music sans Robertson .. and they cook on all tracks .. Richard Manuel is missing on most of this stuff .but he's in there on at least one track on this compilation .. RIP LEVON; hopefully you are hangin with Rick , and Richard now .. .. This music will last forever ..THE BAND were total magic in everything they did ...

Title: don't overlook this one!
Review: Everyone knows that the many comapilations of the original Band are great. This is Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, and Rick Danko in the 1990's and it is the best cuts of the 3 LP's they did then. Nothing second rate here with Bob Dylan's Blind Wille McTell and Spribgteen's Atlantic City the standouts. Fans of the Band will probably get a lot more enjoyment out of this than Robbie Robertson's solo projects. These cuts got almost zero radio play so you may be hearing most of them for the first time. That was radio's mistake not the Band's.

Title: great music, grat eful I bought this
Review: Fanstastic retrospective of the Band's 2nd phase without founding member/guitarist Robbie Robertson. Check out drummer Levon on a smokin cover of Springsteens' s Atlantic City. It begs the question "who needs Robbie R anyway??"

Title: They never wrote a bad song.
Review: This stuff is as timeless as The Beatles. They never wrote a bad song.

Title: Not what expected
Review: I purchased this thinking it was the Best of the Band but it isn't. Read the song titles first. I love Levon Helm but this isn't what I expected. This isn't the originial Band and these are not the hits.

Title: List of songs wrong
Review: I was dissappointed to see that when I got the CD it had different songs than the ones listed on the play list. I felt like the old bait and switch.
