Title: Great Scale….and accurate!
Review: I like that you just have to step on it to get weighed…..opposed to our old one that required pushing a lever. I also like the large, very visible numbers.. There is absolutely nothing that I dislike.. also very affordable and shipped rather quickly.

Title: Love it!
Review: I had this product a few years ago, and my housecleaner broke it accidentally (it fell off the counter as she was cleaning the floor). So, I purchased a different Taylor model (the cheapest glass one I could find). That was a mistake. The other one was opaque, and I really like the clear glass of this model, especially for a small bathroom. Although it takes up the same amount of space, it's less obtrusive because of the clear glass. I also realized that I REALLY like the rounded corners of this model. It's heavy and has a sturdy feel to it. There are also some sort of fabric cushions on the feet to both protect your floor and keep it from moving on you. It's easy to read, and I assume it is accurate. When the other model read the exact same reading three days in a row, down to the 10th of a pound, I began to question its accuracy. So far, I am very happy with this model.

Title: Good scale, consistent, looks fancy. Pounds are accurate, but not the ounces.
Review: This scale fits my size 13 feet, and holds my large self on it. I was nervous at first about the glass breaking, but that never happened haha. I've had it for over a year, and it works well. The battery life is solid. Screen doesn't have a back light, which at times has made me wish I got one with a back light, but that's only because I weigh myself in the morning and wake up before sunrise when its dark. If the lights are on the screen is very easy to read. I've noticed the pounds adjust pretty accurately but the ounces could vary. It also seems to be programmed to not change your weight if you haven't dropped more than a pound. I could fast all day and it seemed it wouldn't drop the ounces, but when it reaches a pound then it will reflect it and show a different weight. So overall this is a really good scale for the person that doesn't plan to weigh themselves daily. It is consistent in tracking so long as the floor underneath is solid, level, and hard.

Title: Looks and works well. I love it.
Review: First, this scale looks very nice and I'm very impressed with the overall quality.Second, it does seem to work well. I had a different Taylor model for 2 years (that this guy is now replacing) and it worked ok most of the time. The problem with the last model was it was sloped up with separate "paths" for each foot. Which meant I put more weight on the back two "feet" of the scale than the front two feet. If I got back on the scale and shifted my weight just a bit more to the front two feet, I'd get a slightly different reading. I learned to stand the same way on that scale to minimize the problem. I've fixed it completely now that I've purchased this new scale.Note: Like most (or maybe all) consumer grade scales, it cheats a bit in the multiple attempts department. Meaning if it weighs you within a half pound or so of the first weigh-in, it gives you the same reading. I tested this by getting a 1/2 full cup of water and getting back on the scale, same reading. Filled the cup up just a bit more and got +.8 pounds. Dumped a bit of water out and the weight didn't change. Dumped a bit more, same weight. Dumped a bit more, -.6 pounds. I don't think that is a reason to mark the scale down b/c I believe all scales do that with multiple attempts in a short period of time. Tricky scale people.Update: I just tried it again (about 10 min departed from my previous scale tests) with only the empty glass and I got a reading of +.2 from my real weight. So it seems very accurate when you put a bit of time between weigh-ins.Best scale I've owned and the last one cost me over $40. Nice when you can upgrade and spend less!!

Title: I did not recieve the scale in the Amazon photograph.
Review: You have to look carefully in comparing the images, but it's not the same scale. We have the scale pictured in the Amazon photograph, which we purchased in 2010, is very accurate, and still working well after 14 years. We wanted a second one for a second bathroom. When the new one arrived and I took it out of the box, I knew immediately that it wasn't identical. This new one in my posted photo is a "shrinkflation" version of the old one. The glass is thinner and the vertical rods are much thinner and flimsier looking. It's also not as accurate. I'm 106 lbs. on the old one and 105 lbs. on the new one. My husband is 195 lbs on the old one and 192 lbs. on the the one, so the heavier the weight, the greater the difference. I checked with Taylor and they confirmed that the one we recieved is a genuine Taylor scale and that they have thousands, yes, thousands of models. Increadible! Only a few are on their website and this one isn't one of them. My husband likes the new scale because it has a backlit screen that makes it easy to read and he probably likes that it shaves three pounds off his weight, so we decided to keeps it, but I did want to put it out there to look your purchase over carefully when you recieve it because it might not be exactly what you ordered.

Review: Most high-tech scales are useless. They claim to measure fat percentage, but are very poor at measuring. Many of them are also inaccurate if not unreliable. This scale is extremely simple, but very accurate, consistent, and appears to be very reliable.
