SUPER FAST: With this Water Heater you will have boiling water in minutes. With 300W at 110V, this heating coil will not keep you waiting to have a mug of boiling water. At 220V-240V it becomes incredibly powerful and heats water super fast, so keep watching. 8.KEEP HANDS OFF. Don’t put your hand into the liquid when the element is plugged in a wall outlet
SIMPLE TO USE: Just fill your container, put the water cup heater in the liquid, and lastly turn the heater on. Keep watching and keep hands off. Once water is hot enough or boiling, unplug the heater and wait a few seconds before removing it from the water. Please find USER MANUAL under Technical Specification section on the listing and READ it carefully before use
COMPACT AND PORTABLE: Lightweight and incredibly handy for travelers. Powered with a dual voltage system, can be used with 110-120V and 220-240V. Includes European adapter for international travel needs and travel pouch for a comfortable carry and separating from your clothes and other stuff
VERSATILE USE: Perfect water or coffee and tea heater at home, at the office, on a business trip or while you travel. Who travels much they know that more and more hotels have started the practice of removing any coffee maker from the room and making you get dressed and go down to the lobby or restaurant location for your morning coffee. You can have that morning coffee easier. For best results, use with glass or ceramic containers only
HIGH QUALITY: Heater coil is made from high-quality stainless steel SUS304. Electric immersion heater has simple design and very compact, making it widely distributed

Title: Great gadget for European travel
Review: I liked that the adapter comes with it. Directions are clear on box and must be followed to a tea (no pun intended.). Be very cautious when using and unplug right away when water begins to boil. Light for carrying in suitcase.

Title: Wow works fast!
Review: Just used this in Europe but tried it out before I left as well. It boiled about 6-7 ounces/180-210 ml in under two minutes. I would unplug and let it sit for at least a minute. I think the main risk for this “burning out” is to expose the coil to air too quickly.I definitely would recommend this when traveling. It comes with a US spec end and has a Euro adapter that worked flawlessly. Just be careful as it gets really hot. Be patient.

Title: Warms a mug of coffee in about 5 minutes
Review: This is a submersible coil that hangs on the edge of a coffee mug and heats the contents. It takes about 5 minutes to get the drink hot, about 8-10 minutes to get it steaming and near boiling. As a fan of hot coffee, I needed this gadget after the microwave died. It's tiding me over until the new unit arrives.I would point out, it's way slower than a microwave, obviously. It's slower than an induction kettle. Slower than a glasstop stove. It's good for traveling since it's compact and you can probably bring it on a plane in your carry-on (I haven't tried that).Unlike other reviewers, I have *NEVER* been in a hotel or motel or AirBnB where they didn't have a kettle or other means of heating water. Never ever. That reviewer who claimed that kettles are becoming more rare is dead wrong, as anyone who actually travels can tell you. Every hotel room has a kettle, and most also have a small microwave. So, this thing is really for those occasions when you simply want to heat the contents of a mug or bowl and lack access to a microwave, and can't be bothered to pour said contents into a pot and turn on the stove. It has the advantage of directly heating the liquid without having to dirty a pot, pour the liquid from one container to another, etc.Like a microwave, it doesn’t inordinately heat the mug but mostly heats the contents. I can actually envision a few use cases for this coil such as at your desk at work, when you just want to heat up your coffee without having to walk to the kitchenette and wait for the microwave to be available. Just submerge, plug in, unplug, unsubmerge, and hang it up again. The instructions by the way are very clear: don’t plug it in while it’s not actually submerged, because it will overheat and burn itself out. Put it in the liquid, plug it in, wait 5 minutes, unplug it, wait a few seconds for good luck, then pull it out and hang it over the faucet or something while it cools down. Don’t forget to rinse it for next time.I suspect that as soon as my new microwave arrives, this coil is going in the closet never to be seen again. But for covering you during periods of no microwave, it's good enough.

Title: Works Good, but Don't Overheat!
Review: Instructions say: 10 oz to boil 5-6 minutes @120V. Ya, that's about what it takes. About 1/4 that long @240V. So, this mean there is no voltage reduction (or transformer) in the adapter - its just straight pin to pin connection through the adapter. That means its getting a heckuva lot hotter (duh) @240V. If the resistance of the heating element stayed the same (using V sq./ R) it would consume 4x the wattage, but as we electronics people know, the resistance of the heating element increases with higher temp. so its not that much of an increase (I didn't measure the amps so I don't know exactly how much more wattage it consumes at the higher voltage). Bottom line - this thing would be very easy to overheat and burnout the heating element (which several people have done) using it at 240V, so do NOT have it plugged in unless its submerged in liquid first, and unplug (allowing a little cooling) before removing from your liquid. This is not as critical using @120V but it's still a good idea. This heater should last quite a while if you follow these precautions. Whew! I think I'll heat some water and have a cup'o java now.

Title: Worked only one time. No support.
Review: Advertised to work with on both 120 volts (USA) and 240 volts (Europe), but it could not handle 240. Became dangerously red hot and then stopped working. No response from manufacturer after several emails.

Title: Great travel water heater/boiler for Europe/overseas.
Review: This heater is fast and works well with 220V overseas, I used it in several European countries. Submerge it in your water before you plug it in of course or it will overheat and you’ll probably burn yourself. It’s very easy to hook it on the inside of your kettle, pot or vessel. You may need to fill it up all the way and discard any water you don’t need. Otherwise it won’t be properly submerged. For my approximately 1 Quart size tea kettle it took 4-5 min to bring to a boil. In an aluminium or stainless thermos coffee mug it takes more like 2-3 min. Make sure to disconnect the heater before you remove it. After many uses you’ll get some color change and some “whiteness” on the initially shiny surface, like you’ll typically see inside a few kettle. That is unavoidable I think. I have not used it for 110V. Personally I use a different heater designed for 110 when I travel in the US. The adapter works in many European countries, in the UK you’ll need a different adapter. It comes with a nice travel cover.

Title: Works great, but be SURE TO UNPLUG BEFORE REMOVING FROM WATER
Review: I managed to burn a spot on my kitchen counter because I was talking on the phone and plugged it in without it being in the water. DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE DISTRACTED!!!!!!!!!!YOU CAN BURN DOWN YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!It heats up the water nicely, but do not let children use it and BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!It does not have a thermostat and can get really hot if it is not in the water.I used it on a camping trip and it worke great to heat up water, but after the experience testing it in my kitchen, I was super careful. PUT IT IN THE WATER BEFORE PLUGGING IT IN, AND UNPLUG IT BEFORE TAKING IT OUT.

Title: It works but takes a long time!
Review: I used it to warm up my rinse kit 3.5 gallon which will take some time. I got it because its still effective and it wont break my bank compared to the ones sold with the kit worth hundreds. Concepts the same! Glad i did! Just be patient and keep an eye from time to time.
