Title: A good pepper grinder!
Review: This pepper grinder works great. My only concern is that it's difficult to turn if you have greasy or wet hands. It's a slick design and looks elegant but is so smooth that my hands can't always grip tightly. I have had this pepper grinder for at least a year and it never fails to grind pepper the way I like it. It's easy to clean and fill and is durable. There is no battery associated with this item.

Title: Very professional with great hand-feel
Review: This was bought to replace a grinder that played out rather quickly with no teeth in the 'lifetime warranty'.It has five settings, from coarse to very fine, and even came loaded with premium pepper. It has a great shape and hand-feel to it and feels heavy and not cheap. I'm glad the old one broke!

Title: Precise and easy
Review: This is the best pepper mill I've ever owned. It grinds easily, has an easy to use adjustment and gives consistent grinds. It's solid, easy to fill, well-made and won't fall apart with a lot of use. I know it's not as cool-looking as the old-fashioned kind, but it's a precise instrument that is well-tooled. If you've had it with rickety made mills, this is for you.

Title: Mostly great, but...
Review: Overall a great pepper mill. Definitely notice a difference in grind size on each setting, from extremely fine to very course and everything in between. Easy to hold, easy to grind, works great except after a month or so of use I still don't find it very intuitive to adjust the grind setting. It should be super simple, but you have to grab/hold it just right to make the adjustment. I don't change settings every day so I have to play around with it each time. I know eventually it will become second nature, but I wish it was a bit easier. Minor gripe though - overall it is well worth the money!BTW, it came with peppercorns already loaded in, but I had also purchased the Tone's peppercorns and the Tone's are amazing - definitely the best peppercorns I have purchased!

Title: Easily Adjustable. Beautiful. High Quality. Just what I was looking for.
Review: It was time to replace my first Cole and Mason Pepper grinder I bought over 5 years ago. It was starting to skip while grinding. I looked at it. My husband took it apart. It didn't help. I groaned when I realized I was going to have to buy a new one. My search started about 6 months ago. I wanted the same Cole and Mason pepper grinder. The problem was there were many of the model I had around. I was having a kitchen tool party and decided to purchase a different brand through the party. It was expensive. It lasted less than 6 months before it stopped grinding. This is how I remember grinders. Breaking very easily.I ordered a different model of Cole and Mason grinders next. The problem was though it was adjustable, it was only adjustable by turning the top knob. It didn't really change the grind much. The insides were also small. I returned it. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a grinder but then saw this one.It looked like what I wanted. This has the plastic barrel where the pepper/salt are kept. It is adjustable by turning the dial close to the bottom of the grinder. I decided to give it a try.This is just what I was looking for.The barrels hold enough salt or pepper that I am not constantly filling it. I can see inside so I know exactly how much is in each of them. They are beautiful. Something I like to put on the table.I can adjust the grind by using the dial near the bottom of the grinder instead of the knob on top.The pepper grinder: It comes set at 3. This is a perfect grind for me. It is easy to turn. I do find that when I try to grind very fine on 1 or 2, the turning is stiff and more difficult. Take the setting all the way to the max and the grind is coarse.The salt shaker: I have this set at 3 also. This is a fine grind. I think a little finer than table salt. Anything below that is more like a powder.

Review: This is the best salt shaker I have been able to find. It has a metal grinder so I expect it will stay sharp and last forever. While upgrading to better efficiency with fewer tools, I bought two types of grinders - one with plastic grinder and one with metal. While this is by far the best of the two, as it came with sea salt instead of Himalayan salt, I use the other one more often, but whenever I use this I love love love it. Although smaller than I expected, the large window and ability to choose coarseness with ease makes it the best design. I especially love that it does not leak salt over everything even without a bottom cap. I will eventually empty out the sea salt and put in 'the pink' and all will be perfect.
