Title: No Refunds when bought thru Amazon. Buyer Beware.
Review: Tracker Remover doesn't work. Gets stuck and hung up. Spent 1+ hours with McAfee Tech Support employee Samantha. She did her level best, in my opinion, to make it work thru a remote connection. She updated windows. Uninstalled and Reinstalled McAfee multiple times. It would not finish the Tracker Remover task.This computer is brand new, but the computer it replaces received the same update and it doesn't work on it either.I am very disappointed with this. In addition to the 70 minutes I spent on the phone with McAfee, I spent 3+ hours trying to get it to work on my own.I needed this to work and will now have to spend more time and money on another product. I had blind faith that it would work as well as the previous edition.Had I done more research, I would have seen that this is an issue that they have know about for some time.They simply released an incomplete product. If one aspect is bad, what are the odds that something else is sketchy?If you think the Tracker Remover isn't that important, try checking the weather or a ballgame score on popular sites some time (with a tracker remover that works, that is). You'll be shocked.

Title: VPN conflict with a couple of apps
Review: App with limitations and a quirk or two.I have to uninstall McAfee from my S23 for my Spectrum TV app to work on my phone. Unacceptable!After a 3 hour chat with McAfee tech support, we discovered whatever was populating the McAfee cache was keeping two Android apps (that I know of) from working: Spectrum TV and Android Smart Switch. These apps, and likely others, will not work with VPN "on". The problem is, once the VPN is on, even after you switch it OFF, those apps will no longer work. To make them work again you need to empty the cache, a deep dive process that you don't want to have to do repeatedly.The claimed problem by McAfee? A problem with those other apps, not McAfee.A major part of my purchase decision was the inclusion of VPN on Android.There is not yet a problem with my Windows desktop with VPN on.The other issue is Account sign in. It asks you to update your password, I did, and went back in to access info, and it says you can't use your password because they "upgraded our authentication system". So now they require a "passcode" where you have to go to your email to retrieve a passcode and then back to McAfee to access your account. Note to McAfee: Then get rid of the "Forgot password?" note so your customers don't waste their time!I bought this app to "simplify" my device usage. Fail!
