If you're tired of your laundry falling behind your front-loading washer and dryer, it's time to discover the Haus Maus Laundry Guard. This clever accessory will keep your laundry clean and on top of your machines while providing an expanded workspace in your laundry room. The unique hinged design adapts to fit either one or two machines and can be used on stacked machines with sufficient space between the top of the machine and the ceiling. Each back panel is 25.25 inches wide with an overall width of 50.5 inches when used on two machines. Each panel is 8 inches high. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A METAL, FLAT-TOP FRONT-LOADING WASHER AND DRYER. Some newer front-loading machines have rounded plastic tops that our magnets cannot attach to. Haus Maus Laundry Guard is a woman-owned small business.

About the Inventor

I am a mom, a homemaker, and a woman who loves to problem solve! In 2014, I invented the original Haus Maus Laundry Guard because I was so frustrated with laundry falling off the back of my new front loading washer and dryer. Transforming the top into an enclosed work surface is more cost effective and convenient than installing a custom countertop, and allows easy access to plumbing hookups.

Sort and fold laundry right on top of your machines with the Haus Maus Laundry Guard! The hinged fencing pieces block clothing from falling behind and between washers and dryers.
The Laundry Guard works best with metal flat topped front loader machines. It can be customized to fit side-by-side machines or 2-in-1 combo washer/dryer machines for everyday usage. The shortened length converts the top of stacked machines into storage.
Not limited to just laundry! This customizable guard system can be used with any flat metal surface with side gaps. Make workroom tool cabinets & filing cabinets functional staging surfaces. Transform the top of the refrigerator into functional storage.
Hinged ends let you customize the shape, accommodating for wider and narrower machines, helping you to maximize the potential of your existing space. Each 4 piece set comes with two 25.25" x 8" plastic back pieces & two 21" x 8" plastic side arm pieces.
Strong N42 neodymium rare earth magnets are molded into the base of each piece. This allows the arm and back pieces to grip tightly to metal surfaces. Make sure to double-check that the magnets are facing downwards when setting up your Laundry Guard.
Setup is fast, easy and intuitive! Hinges slide together in a matter of seconds. Use fewer or more pieces to maximize or save space in small laundry rooms and tight corners.
Measure the space you want to use your Laundry Guard in prior to purchasing. Each piece is 8" tall, so you'll need 8 inches minimum between the surface of your machine and the base of the upper cabinets or ceiling.
Moving or refurbishing your space? The Laundry Guard is just as easy to take apart and move wherever you need it, or store away until you're ready to use it again.

Title: Sturdy and simple
Review: It was so easy to assemble I think I almost tried to make it complicated. Just snaps in place. Helps prevent clothes from falling behind the laundry machines even when we've left big piles. It's really helped us not have to use a broom, hanger to fish or dig out items anymore. We like that it can be a barrier for one or two side by side. I was worried that it being plastic it would break but this is sturdy and the magnets are strong. Definitely worth it!

Title: LOVE the product; however...
Review: First of all I want to make it abundantly clear that I love this product and it has solved a host of annoying issues for me.I really wish they offered either sets that surround the washer and dryer separately, or an extender for between the existing sections they have now. Due to the plumbing disaster in my house, I can't stick my washer and dryer together so that they are practically touching, which is what this product needs in order to fit together. As a result I have to place the edges of this an inch or two inside the edge of my washer and dryer, which looks kind of hokey and cuts down on usable space on top.Overall, it's a great product. The magnets are small but surprisingly sturdy when you have the entire thing connected. More magnets might offer more stability. Biggest gripe is just the lack of an extension, which likely isn't a problem for most people.

Review: Always skeptical of this stuff. This one was a winner.These took 30 seconds to assemble. Open box, pull out. Slide the white pegs from one side into the waiting cylinders on the other piece to form a corner and done! Attaches to washer/dryer via magnets. No tools, hardware, or instructions!Arrived in perfect condition, no smell, no scratches, very sturdy and well made— perfect size to be useful but not look like fencing.Only negative: our front loaders (2023 Samsungs) are about 2-3” apart. The gap forces these about 2” in from the left and right edges, respectively, but don’t care- keeps everything away from the very edges even more.Great value for the cost and an excellent add to our otherwise un-noteworthy laundry room.(No wicker baskets, nice paint color, or shelving here…)
