Title: Oddly addicting
Review: I have played minecraft for over 12 years, and it has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. So, when I saw these in a store, I couldn't help but pick it up when I saw that it was a 1+ player card game as usually I like to have the option to play games alone. It took me a bit to get the instructions to click in my brain, but it's nothing super difficult and nothing a quick tutorial won't help if you need the extra clarification. I ended up doing just that looking up a video tutorial - to see if they clarified some things I had questions on (specifically pertaining to the hunger bars, which I assume refills after every in-game "night" since that's basically what happens when playing with multiple people: you hand them the hunger bars for their turn) and soon I found myself playing through it without having to think much about it. And like the real thing, I found myself oddly addicted to it. I played round, after round, after round, and over two hours had passed before I realized it; my phone left completely abandoned on the other side of the room. I think it's quite genius, actually. The game is modified to fit a card game, but it's similar enough that it can play much like the real game once you get the hang of things. It's both easy enough and moderately challenging for an 8 year old to play, but also entertaining enough for an adult as well. It's well worth the eight bucks for what could be hours of entertainment whether you're alone or with friends. And both the cards and the box seem sturdy enough to handle the wear and tear of kids, which is always a plus.

Review: Fun little game to play together with another Minecraft fan. Simple and moderately thinky turns and a good dose of luck involved. Several levels of difficulty which increases the replayability.
