Title: They WORK On A Variety Of Unwanted Guests
Review: How do I know they work? Well, every year in this old house around this time in Fall as thee weather turns colder we, unfortunately, begin to get mouse ingression into this old house. And while traps are effective, and sometimes necessary, I would just as soon not use them. These tins have absolutely cut down on the amount we've found so far. Like, ZERO.I've stationed them on the back porch, in the basement and the attic and have not seen, heard or seen evidence of a rodent. They will also works on spiders. The double sided stickers on each tim bottom are of no use to me, I use them flat on the floor. But it's a nice inclusion.I know peppermint oil by itself is something they do not like, I'm not sure about the other ingredients.Apparently though, it's working. How long it'll last remains to be seen. The smell of peppermint oil can be overpowering but these don't make the room they're stationed in hard to be in. It IS still strong, though. At 5 dollars per canister I'm not sure these are some big bargain but, sometimes that's the price of convenience. And convenient they are.I am recommending these because of their early effectiveness and ease of use.

Title: Great idea. Time will tell.
Review: Found peppermint oil spray to be somewhat affective at discouraging the local rodent population. Problem is, you have to keep reapplying it as rain and time weaken the applied spray. This seems like a good solution as the oil is emulsified in a cream base and contained within a stick up tin (with air vents to allow the scent to circulate). Reminds me of the old 'stick ups' room deodorizers. You can definitely smell the peppermint oil but the initial scent is nowhere near as strong as it is with the spray. Time will tell if this is strong enough to discourage the critters. Most of my infestation attempts seem to be outdoors around the foundation of the house so.. we'll see if these containers stay where they are placed and how they hold up to the alternating hot, cold, dry, wet weather. I'm hopeful, but I'm not confident in the results. Will update my review if these end up being far better, or far worse, over time than my initial four star review would otherwise indicate.

Title: 4 Pack Peppermint Oil Rodent Repellent
Review: It's that time of year when the mice start looking for warmer spots, mostly in the garage. We've had wires chewed on a previous vehicle that wasn't used daily, so we've placed all packs in our 2 car garage. The peppermint smell is something the mice really hate, so these should really help - the smell is strong but not objectionable. Very pleased with the packaging and ease in placing these throughout the garage. Much easier than having to repeatedly spray an oil.

Title: Strong!
Review: This is so strong that even without taking it out of the package, the package has a strong mint smell. I put one in a drawer where there had been obvious activity at my lake cottage. In a few weeks when I return, I will update. I like the scent. The cottage gets a bit musty anyway, so the scent is welcome.

Title: Pleasant Peppermint Smell for Repelling
Review: This is pleasant smelling to me.I occasionally have a small mouse problem in the house. The way I know mice are around is their droppings they leave behind. So I guess if I don't see those I will know this works.I didn't realize that people are having problems with mice in under their car hoods around engines, I read that peppermint will deter spiders so I am going to place one in an area that has spider webs.I am rethinking this product: I will place where I don't want them to be. I previously used deadly products that was supposedly sending them away to mouse heaven somewhere else, but I would place that where I saw droppings. I wish the product would last longer than a month because I have a place to use where I might not be able to change once/month. Maybe a larger container could be made in the future.

Title: Peppermint scent
Review: I have read that peppermint is suppose to deter mice. I wanted to get something I could place in my camper when we are done using it to prevent damage. This is the second product that was to smell like peppermint. The first one from somewhere else had a strong smell of moth ball not peppermint and I couldn't use it as intended. This one however, smells like peppermint. I like it, lets hope the mice don't. It is pretty strong even before you take the plastic off the box and each individual tin is also wrapped in plastic inside the box. It claims to be human and pet friendly but keep out rodents.

Title: These did not work.
Review: I put them around my basement as a deterrent and it did not work. The same area where rat poop was found, i cleaned the area and placed these down, came back a few days later and there was more poop right next to it, Cleaned up the poop hoping that it just took some time to annoy it and it would leave. Nope, went back a few days later to more fresh poop. So it may say its a deterrent, but it seem to attract them, from what I've seen.

Title: Didn’t work for me
Review: I was hopeful that these would work. I set one up along our wooden fence and had a ring camera set up right next to it. The first night, the rat came up to canister, turned around and ran away. So, the next night, I set more canisters down. Again, I had a ring camera set up to capture any activity. The rats weren’t deterred at all, they just jumped over the canisters while continued to run back and forth along the fence railing.
