Title: Flawless and delicious!!!
Review: We have owned two of these and have enjoyed having delicious coffee from freshly-ground, excellent beans (Lavazza Top Choice, sometimes espresso version but usually filtro), programmed the night before. Heavenly coffee to wake up to. Both of our Black & Decker Mill & Brew coffee makers have performed flawlessly. To the reviewer who can't get her filter out: use the swing-up handle on it, and it comes right out. We had the 1st over six years, and I bought a second simply bc I didn't know how to properly clean the fine-meshed filter and it accumulated some hard debris. I scraped it out with a sharp knife! The new one, which I've easily kept clean for almost 3 years now, I just spray out with the kitchen spray hose, first inside, then from the outside along each section (sides and bottom). Takes only a minute. I also run it through the dishwasher every month or two and that's all it takes. I also give a quick rinse to the funnel that holds the filter. Easy to use, SUPERB coffee that stays hot and somehow doesn't get bitter nearly as quickly as with other coffee makers and coffee brands. Great features: select how long to grind, how strong to make, when to start brewing (immediately, or program), etc. Love it and will likely buy another just to stash in the basement to have when this one eventually goes. As grinders go, it isn't very loud, though if our bedroom door is open, we do hear it go off in the morning...this has become a very happy sound association. After over eight years, we still get excited about getting up for a cup of Lavazza Top Class, freshly ground and brewed in an EXCELLENT coffee maker. Lower maintenance than the pricey super-automatics, way more affordable, easy cleaning, and--best of all--amazing coffee. Highly recommend.

Title: Nice easy to clean grind and brew
Review: This is our fourth or fifth one of these spanning back to the original Melitta Grind and Brew. We love them. True, not a burr grinder but fresh ground bean coffee tastes great in the morning just after you wake up! Much better than any ground coffee sitting in your machine overnight getting stale rapidly. Never had any issues with any of them leaking; operator error… just make sure the pot is sitting properly aligned in its spot and you won’t have any issues. The weak spot/fatal flaw is a little plastic pin in the filter basket holder that can break with time (usually 2-3 years for us). This is required to trip a switch; no pin, no bueno. Drill out the stub and a short, fat, flathead screw fixes that! These are cheap enough, especially when on sale or on Prime Day, that just get a new one every 3-4 years. Foibles aside, these a great, easy to clean, and make great ground bean coffee.

Title: Great Grind and Brew Coffee maker
Review: After going through two Cuisinart grind and brew makers we decided to look at other makers. This Black+Decker caught our attention. Ratings are good and the name has a good reputation. Cant beet the price and I had points to use. We LOVE this coffee maker. Would love to have had a thermal carafe but we just transfer the coffee to one after. The white looks great in our kitchen. This is a quality grind and brew. The display is very bright and easy to read. All essential parts are removable for easy cleaning (something the Cuisinart did not do and was always a problem) The Grinder is Very quiet when grinding, amazingly so. Not like the Cuisinart where you needed ear plugs. Programming is easy and straight forward, We like the hot plat time settings. Turn ours off in short time as we do not like to cook our coffee. The only negative we have is that the water fill is small and the lid does not open far enough. So if you use the coffee pot to fill it will get in the way. We use a orange juice quart jug for that and this works great. All in all we are very happy with this Grind and Brew maker. Highly recommend this one. You cant beat this price.If the pic is sideways I could not fix it here on this review.Update to this review. After having this for awhile, one problem we have had. The water fill to the pot while brewing started to leak. At first I could not find it but firther investigating found the problem. The tube attached to the lid leading to the pot to fill it while brewing also act's as the back Hing to the lid. There are two O-rings on that tube that seal it. These broke apart from the motion of the lid Hing. I was able to remove this part after taking out the tiny screws that attached the tubing to the lid. You can then gently work this piece out. I replaced the O-rings and put it all back together. This worked for some time. Then one day all the water came out onto the stove top. Knowing why I again disassembled the lid. But this time the filler tube broke right where it entered the side of the maker. Done! I did contact Black and Decker. They responded immediately. Nice. They wanted to do something for me, but by then I had already ordered a new one. That is good P.R.We did purchase the same coffee maker as we really like this compared to all the others out there. For the money you can't go wrong. Had three Cuisinart makers that were expensive, noisy, hard to clean and ultimately failed.This new Black and Decker coffee maker has some improvements to it. The grinding basket is finer mesh. No more grinds in the coffee after brewing. The lid seams to rotate much smoother. So I hope they has used better O-rings to seal the tubing.We are still very happy with this coffee maker. Not sorry we purchased it again. Next time if we have trouble I will contact Black and Decker before I toss the old one. I think they could have fixed it, or tried. Can't ask for more than that.

Title: Great coffee maker with grinder
Review: We love this thing and have been preferring it over our nice Breville espresso machine lately. It did have a little learning curve though and it took some trial and error to figure out the right ratios. But now that we have, I really like it. I love that it grinds whole beans, we don't need paper filters, and that you can set it to automatically brew. It has made consistently good coffee - although the measurements on the pot and reservoir seem wrong. If I pour in 4 cups of water using a measuring cup, it says it's 7 in the reservoir. So we fill the reservoire to a 6 and use 4 scoops of whole bean coffee and that makes a good cup.The automatic feature is great. It's not hard just a little tricky to figure out at first. It's not too bad to clean. The filter comes out as does the part it sits in. They're easy to rinse/wipe off. There's a piece on the bottom of the lid that pops off for easy cleaning too. The reservoire is a little small so it's hard to clean since it doesn't come off. Lastly, the coffee maker itself is a little flimsy. It's worked great the past 4 months with multiple pots brewed per day, but I worry it may not last too long.

Review: Loved it as much as I love my expresso it successfully replaced my all in one espresso -latte -cappuccino maker as I am only intersted in my black coffee had to use a step down voltage for American / Canadian use in India ...that cost me as much as the machine cost but the output is a perfect cup of joe each time , moreover I knew it before I bought it so no hard feelings for that😉 ...grinds beans to a perfection and is quite user friendly even though with a professional touch !!
