Title: Digital Control w/ Remote 9" - Can Mute Beep - All Fan Lights Turn Off Automatically.
Review: update- Don't waste your money on the slightly cheaper options, the 9" Digital Control w/ Remote is the one to get. I've had this fan for months and run it day and night. It is excellent. This is a very well-thought-out fan for a bedroom. The only negative is it expands only on one side and doesn't stay in place well. I increased my rating to five stars.------------------------This is my Initial impression after buying and returning a few fans on Amazon.First some general fan comments.I've used a fan instead of AC in the bedroom for 30+ years. The quality of fans has gone way down. Previous brands I used that lasted 10 years do not last more than two or come defective. Don't trust old reviews, fans look the same but are not. Common problems are rattling or motor buzzing, which makes it hard to sleep or fans stop working in a year or two. The most common problem with a new fan is the blade being out of balance. If the blade wobbles even slightly the fan will start making noise after several weeks, often after the return window closes. This Fan:A nice design. It is pleasant sounding on the lowest setting. The volume of air is good, about what I'm used to. I generally don't use the remote but this one is nice and mutes the beeping sounds. The two lights are not overly bright and are only on for a few seconds when the fan is turned on or the settings are changed.Negatives: I have it mounted sideways and the expandable sides do not support weight well. Fortunately, I only had to expand the top to make it fit. The fan bottom is too wide to fit in the side groove of the window, so I had to use a metal bracket from a previous fan to make it secure. It would be nice if I could purchase a cover and a screen.I like this fan so far. I will see how long it lasts then update the review.

Title: Perfect for all seasons
Review: It's always difficult to replace, literally, a 25-year window fan - used vertically rather than horizontally. The replacement will never be the same, right?Even though this had a little less blade power, the circulation aspects are so superior that they better keep the room cool and airy.Beyond the great functionality, big props on the extenders, adjustable and bottom, that allow me to fill the window from top to bottom. This allows me to slide the window edge flush with the fan.Awesome item!

Title: Works Pretty Well, Room for Improvement
Review: The fan was really easy to set up and install. You donât even need the extender panels which block the open window and the fan can easily be put up and taken down as needed. I really like that there is an exhaust built in and you do not need to cycle through different modes. I purchased the digital display rather than the manual, and I wish I had bought the manual display instead. The thermostat on the fan doesnât work because it is built into the unit. I am using this fan to cool my apartment in the winter because my building uses radiator heat and it will get up to 85 degrees in my apartment even with my radiators turned off. However since the thermostat is built into the unit, the temperature controls always default off because it is 20 degrees outside yet 80 degrees inside. Because of the way the digital display is set up, I need to click the button 11 times to switch from low to high, or to go from high to off. If I had known this I wouldâve purchased the manual display which is just a switch to change speeds. Despite the drawbacks of the thermostat and display it is still a good unit as it really effectively cools my apartment and is quiet enough watch tv or sleep when set at high or low speed.

Title: Fits well, great overall buy with a few minor issues
Review: After comparing several different fans, I'm glad I landed on this one. There are still a few things to consider, but nothing that takes away from my 5 stars.PROS- Having a remote control was more convenient than I thought it would be.- I mounted mine vertically. It's doable, but there is one slight issue (more on that in the CONs)- The lights on the front of the fan light up when you are making changes, and the lights eventually turn off after a little while. Great for people who don't like extra lights at night. Makes it hard to find the buttons in the dark if you don't have the remote, but this feature still is a plus overall.- 3 different settings for intake, exhaust, or circulate. All 3 setting can run at 3 speeds.- I have a screen on my window, and this unit fit into my window without removing the screen. It's a bit tight, it's pressed up against the screen, but it fit!CONS- I wish the fans blew a little stronger. I really don't have anything to compare it to, so this may be standard for these types of units. It's a small con.- This particular problem applies to mounting it vertically. The unit does have little built-in clips to hold the slide out extenders in position, and you can pick seemingly 1 inch increments. But the clips aren't very strong and it took like a long time, probably around 10 frustrating minutes, to get the clips to stay put when setting my fan vertically in my window. It's not a big enough deal to knock it down a star, once it's in place it has been very sturdy so far. Just a pain in the butt during initial setup, or if you plan to move it in and out of the window often. Again, only applies to the vertical position.- It doesn't come with a screen. Not a problem for me since my window has a screen, but still something for others to consider.

Review: I like it's performance, overall.I do wish the blades/motor made a tad bit more noise because our old fan was loud enough to be a white noise machine, this one not so much. The remote is helpful.

Review: I have no AC in my apartment and the summers get extremely hot. Normal fans help but unless you are moving the hot air out, its useless. This thing moves the warm air out and pumps in cool air and I am amazed by how efficient it is. My apartment is significantly cooler with this thing. Also works well vertically which i was worried about

Review: I'm a very hot person, so fans are important to me. This window fan works well. The air flow on high is good for this type and size of fan, and I'm perfectly happy with it. The noise level is the same as any other fan like this... actually, the low setting is very quiet IMO.Is this my dream fan? No. Ideally, I would like it if it had a bug screen for that price. I would also prefer it to be mechanical instead of digital, because with digital, I can turn ot off using alexa voice commands, but not on, since it resets to off when the power is cut. So that is a bit of a bummer - i was dumb and didn't think if that when i ordered. Also, I agree that the thermostat feature is useless. There is seriously no point to it. Luckily, this fan works fine just using the high and low settings. I will never use the thermostat settings. Finally, the light that stays on when you use it is bright, which could bug people.
