Title: Excellent Product
Review: I've been a side sleeper for 60 yrs, but for the last couple I've found myself waking up with shoulder pain in the middle of the night. I would switch to the other side until that shoulder hurt & then go back & forth all night long until both shoulders hurt & I could no longer get back to sleep. Eventually I began having shoulder pain during the day and tried unsuccessfully to become a back sleeper. This device is a game-changer and it's so simple. Basically it's just shifting the support of your midsection from your shoulders to your rib cage. You'd think a regular pillow would work, but this thing is made of a special dense foam rubber(not memory foam) and has an extreme wedge shape that fits just right. I emailed the seller for an extra wedge which makes it better for someone with wide shoulders. He sent it right away at no charge. I used some duct tape to fasten it to the main wedge and keep it from moving around inside the zippered pillow case that comes with the product.I still wake up a few times at night and switch sides, but I am able to reposition the device quickly & get right back to sleep. On average I'd say I'm getting 30-45 minutes more sleep thanks to this and my daily shoulder pain is getting better. One of my shoulders doesn't hurt at all anymore. Works for me!

Title: Memory foam is hot!
Review: I ended up returning this product. I did get a full refund, but it cost me $20 to ship it back. I could never get comfortable. It is made with a memory foam type material and it tends to make you very warm when you sleep. Personally, I was very disappointed. I was so hoping this would help my back pain.

Title: Terrific for shoulder pain - and portable
Review: UPDATE 11/25/2020 - bought a second one, and just wanted to reiterate how great this is for shoulder pain reduction in side sleepers. It’s weird to see this overall rated 3 stars. I no longer have constant shoulder pain - the PT worked - but it comes back on occasion. I swear by this pillow now, to the point where I’ll take it with me when I travel. Yes, it takes more effort to roll over to the other side...but I feel it aligns my spine better than not using it.INITIAL REVIEW. I bought this when recovering from shoulder impingement (the clinically-diagnosed, PT-therapy kind). I sleep on my sides, and had significant shoulder pain on the down shoulder that badly affected my sleep. This pillow supports the torso up to the armpit, while the head rests on the pillow - allowing the shoulder to rest on the mattress with far less weight on it. It's a brilliant idea - and I credit this thing with vastly improving my sleep during recovery, and I'm sure also reducing the time to recovery. I still get the occasional recurrence of shoulder pain and use this pillow religiously. It also fits into a suitcase (I've used it in checked luggage; haven't tried smashing into my biz-trip overhead-bin rolly guy, but my guess is it'd be doable if you don't overdo the clothes). My only negative comment: it's only wide enough to accommodate one sleeping position - so to roll onto one's other side, you pretty much have to wake long enough to arrange yourself in the other orientation. I'm thinking a 'double-wide' version of this might be even better - but I'm not aware they make one. But two thumbs way up for this pillow - big help.

Title: Very well made, but not helpful for lower back pain
Review: I love the idea of this product, and it's very well made, but as it turns out, my lower back pain responds better when my hips are elevated rather than my torso, which is the part this item lifts up. It is also very thick; I think if it were a bit shallower at the thick end it might be a bit more effective, at least for me. I am quite short, only 5 feet tall; this might work better for someone who is taller.

Title: Perfect for support while sitting on couch.
Review: Everyone’s body is different. I have scoliosis with a curvature in my lumbar spine of 34 degrees. I suspect I also have lordosis in this region as well because I always have to stretch forward and round it out to relieve it after walking around for some time. While this pillow was an excellent height to relieve shoulder pain when side sleeping, my thoracic and lumbar regions were very sore when I used it this way. Still looking for a long term solution there. HOWEVER, I randomly decided to try it out as a back support while sitting on the couch watching TV and voila! Lower back pain gone!!! I’m absolutely ecstatic.I get the impression that this is a small company because the customer service is very personal. They absolutely will help you with any questions or concerns and stand behind their product.

Title: no pain in the morning!
Review: I bought this pillow to help with my shoulder pain--which is from old injuries but severely worsened by sleeping on my side with my arm under my pillow. I've tried a number of solutions--sleeping on my back (I always roll to the side), hugging a pillow in front of me (doesn't feel comfortable and doesn't relieve the pressure that much), etc.I had seen similar products to this at my massage therapist's office, but medical-grade and very expensive. This is a wonderful alternative. It's very simple--it lifts your upper body slightly so that your shoulder/arm has a trough to rest in. Use a normal head pillow, probably something that's a bit thicker than average, to keep the alignment. Because it's foam, you don't roll around much at night. Lightweight and squishable, so you can take it on trips.

Title: Too firm
Review: I had high hopes for this pillow but it was too firm and it immediately hurt my ribs to lay on it. Not comfortable at all. Maybe it’s just my body type but it didn’t work for me.

Title: Works great
Review: Very unique, shaped perfect to support. Kind of like a floating feeling, not stiff.
