Based on the life of a three war Marine and the lives of real men and real battles including the Chosin Reservoir. True combat from Marines who lived that frozen horror and added to the glory of the Corps. The story of honor, bravery and the real sacrifices of the greatest fighters on Earth. Sacrifices that sometimes go deeper than shrapnel or bullets. Sacrifices that take more than courage, sacrifices that can only be given or forgiven through faith in God almighty.

Title: Poignant
Review: It’s a difficult read to know that so many have given the ultimate sacrifice and the innocent casualties that transpired during the three wars covered here. This telling bring a personal and familial storyline to the horrors that war is.

Title: Novel of Marines in Korea and Vietnam
Review: Read "The Old Corps" by this author (Johnnie M. Clark) first as this book is the follow-up to "The Old Corps." This is a true page turner and will not disappoint.

Title: RMD No Better Way
Review: I give this book only 4 stars because so many people don't like Combat story's. Otherwise I'd go with 5 stars. True stories are always good. Fictional stories around true people, places and major events are even better. And this Writer is so good you feel like you are right there watching it happen. Now, I'm part of the Lucky Generation in that the year we started pulling out of Vietnam I graduated High School. I entered the Armed Forces in 1974. I missed everything. Whew!Including the next conflict. But reading this story reminded me of just how proud I was to serve (I did not agree with Vietnam WAR or why we were there) and just how much I had to live up to. And just how Grateful we all need to be towards people like G.Sargent Slate and everyone of our military. This book gives you an idea of just how large the sacrifice they made was and how high the cost all the young men was made. It real life and just as scary.A great read!

Title: They are all written well and good reads until this one
Review: This is the third book of Mr. Clark's that I have read. They are all written well and good reads until this one. The spelling and grammatical errors at times seemed that they had to have been done on purpose, they were so frequent and so far off. Had to re-read a lot of sentences to make sense of them. This is really too bad as Johnnie Clark, in my opinion, is a great writer.

Title:
In "No Better Way To Die" setzt sich die Geschichte in Korea (Chosin Reservoir) und Vietnam fort.
