Title: Wonderfully and considerately done
Review: I wasn't sure what to expect. I wanted my toddler to watch something of value as opposed to a lot of the junk they have out there (ex: why do tv shows insist on introducing concepts of witches, magic, and wizards to kids?!!). At the same time I wanted to make sure I wasn't exposing my kid to anything beyond age level. Long story short, this movie does a wonderful job at being entertaining and saying what needs to be said in a non-scary/emotional way. Spoiler-non spoiler: but Jesus dies and comes back alive. I was worried about how they would cover the death scene. But the movie did a great job at conveying the idea at a toddler level. at the same time, some things go above the head of a toddler but get understood by older kids. We played this during Easter and an 8 year old was getting teary eyed seeing it and toddlers (smart empathetic toddlers mind you that typically cry to sad music or don't like it when cartoon characters get hurt) were chilling watching it. It was a great conversation piece too. As a parent to have something to help introduce the story to your little ones

Title: Great way to introduce children to Bible stories...our family, grown-ups, too, LOVES the whole series!
Review: This particular animated movie & the others in this series are great for the whole family. If you're looking for something respectfully presented---more subdued with soft music & wonderful animation that best compliments the stories, then look no further. I did some research online before ultimately choosing this animation series, hands down. It is well presented & something my own traditional, old-school parents & grandparents would approve of & find respectful of the biblical stories told in this series.I found the other animated Bible stories to be more like obnoxious cartoons, filled with inappropriate sarcasm & humor, as well as a distracting & annoying soundtrack that just didn't seem befitting or respectful to biblical stories. I'm thankful that I took the time to look at clips of others online because I know 100% that I made the right choice. 🙂

Title: Great intro to the gospel!
Review: My 3.5 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this movie. We had talked a lot about Jesus before watching it, but not much about the crucifixion. This was a great introduction to it! We sat and watched the movie with her for the first few times, and she asked many questions during (and since). It's definitely gotten her thinking! It is perfect for preschoolers, as it is not a gory depiction of the crucifixion, yet gets the point across. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with toddler/preschool age children who is wanting to spur them on towards Jesus.

Title: Jesus!
Review: I love this movie. I also love the way it shows that Jesus was born in a stable, but the wisemen came when they were living in a house. That is the word of God!

Title: Truly G-rated for the youngest toddlers!
Review: I looked long and hard, even purchasing several Bible story DVDs that said they were suitable for young children but were not, mainly because of the way they dealt with the crucifixion -- and even one that had snarling dogs chasing children! But happily, this DVD has NO violence in it and treats the story of Jesus truthfully! My three-year-old grandson loves watching it with his parents but can watch it without supervision too.

Title: The kids love it!
Review: My 6, 4 and 2 year old boys love it! They already liked the Read and Share DVD Bible, but this is better, because it's a full length movie. It's amazing how the calm, quiet tone of the videos really draw the kids in. And, of course, I love that it's just another way to instill the Word into their lives.

Title: Simple animation that follows the bible
Review: All the kids (2,4,6) enjoy this movie. I like that it’s slower paced and not over dramatized. Not all the flickering scene changes. And it seems to follow the Bible pretty accurately.

Title: A must for your kids
Review: This is a well-produced version of the Jesus movie for children. My kids find it captivating, and we have had many a great conversation after watching this. In an age (society and culture) that is becoming evermore hostile towards raising our kids with a clear Christian world-view, I see this kind of material as a near necessity. Enthusiastic thumbs up.

Review: Absolutely brilliant. So pleased. I have 3 sons aged 13yrs 4yrs & 16mths and they all enjoyed the DVD of our wonderful saviour. We need more DVDs like this as children can learn a lot through viewing. It's a nice change from reading scriptures. My husband & I enjoyed it too!

Review: Wonderful movie, my son is almost 4 and really enjoys this. He watched it 3 times back to back the day he got it. I love that they are repeating scripture all the way through the film in a way kids can understand. Very satisfied.
