Title: Curly hair? To Infiniti and... go no further!
Review: My friend tried using my $150.00 CHI flat iron and told me, "Get rid of this!" She recommended this Infiniti flat iron to me and I am glad she did. This Infiniti flat iron is amazing and it only cost me less than a third of what I paid for my CHI.First of all, my CHI took over a minute to get hot enough to use, and even when it did, it only went up to 395 degrees Fahrenheit. The Infiniti really heats up in about 15 seconds and the higher heat option is great for those with thick hair. There are five heat levels available and it is easily visible at the side panel. The flat iron closes quite evenly so you're not left with random portions of not-straight hair. I like the handle because it is easy to pull together. It is not too tight where you're having to uncramp your hand every now and then. With my CHI I had to squeeze down the handles because the irons were uneven and the awkwardly thin handles left my hands cramped.This flat iron really does leave your hair frizz-free. I have a full head of thick curly hair, and I was able to get great results in about 45 minutes to an hour (which is great for my hair type). I thought a 1.5 inch size might be too small for taming my crazy hair, and contemplated the 2 inch size, but it works so good! With straight or simple wavy hair, I would imagine you could finish your look in half that. I always got sweaty after doing my hair but I found myself having to retouch it, if ever, only once, or twice on a humid day. I guess that tourmaline thing really does work. Compared to this, the CHI was horrible. I took over an hour to do my hair and it didn't even look good; AND I had to retouch it at least three or four times.I have had this flat iron for over four months now and I have not encountered any problems with it yet. I use it frequently, but it still heats up quick. The few times that I dropped it to the floor, I did not see any damage. It is quite a sturdy thing.This flat iron comes with a small case for the top of the flat iron so keep it shut when stowed away. This is great for those like me who rush, and don't have time to wait for the flat iron to cool before putting it away. Though I have not observed the auto shut-off feature with my flat iron yet, I think that safety feature is great. The only thing I should add here is that when you use a flat iron routinely, you should always use a heat protectant spray. I bought one by Thermasilk and I feel it worked well.So to recap...Pros:1. Price.2. Quality.3. Hair is shiny and frizz-free.4. Quick heat up.5. Safety feature.Cons:1. Heat damage.

Review: This is a great iron! It heats up super quickly, super simple to use, straightens my hair with two passes. My hair stayed straight for a day and a half after straightening it. I was also able to curl my hair and it worked wonders. Only thing I will say is to be careful when straightening your hair because hair does tend to snag at the tip of the plates.

Review: I've had this flat iron for 6 years now and I still love it. I use it daily to either smooth out the night before's blowout, completely straighten for a sleek look, or twist for curls! All 3 pics in this review were achieved using this iron. It adds a nice shine and does not damage my hair (when used with proper heat protectant), nor does my hair get stuck and yanked out like a lot of other irons do. The floating plates allow you to get really close to your scalp and not have those weird lines that always seem to get left behind by my previous iron, a 1" Chi.The only cons:1) Took a star off for temperature control. I don't think it gets up to anywhere near 455 degrees, or at least not anymore. But that's ok, really shouldn't be torching your hair anyway! Also, the dial has numbers on it from 5-25 so you don't really know what exact temperature you're at.2) Took a star off for traveling since this is a bit longer than others and not dual voltage. Also ok, since I'll just use my Chi for travel, but if they ever make this in a dual voltage version, I'm buying it immediately.Overall, a super effective tool, EXCELLENT value for the price. Would buy again if it ever breaks!

Review: This is honestly a great hair straightener. I just had to find the right temperature for my hair. Once I did I fell in love. Leaves my hair shiny and my hairs stays pretty straight all day. It has an auto shut off and cord is long enough. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good hair straightener at a good price. Btw I’ve been using this for a year now and still works as good as it did the day I opened it up. My hair texture is wavy and frizzy, but you would never know it after using this tool.

Review: This straightener is very impressive. I have very thick/coarse wavy hair . My hair is so resistant to straighten ,I use to get it chemically straightened to save time. I have never been able to enjoy sleek straight hair immediately after washing and blow drying but this straightener achieved the sleek look right after I blow dried .I normally have to wait for day 3 of touch ups with my straightener to feel my hair is straight and by then I have to wash it again:I definitely would recommend heat protectant - it gets HOT.I don’t think I’ll have to straighten my hair again now until I wash it though . Maybe just a little touch up .Highly recommend !
