Title: Good value. Working as expected.
Review: I bought four of these (two packs of 2 X 256GB). I decided that this would be more flexible and more reliable than buying either a 1TB or 2TB SSD drive. These are slower, but for backup, the speed was acceptable. Notice, that if these thumb drives have MP in the model number, it means they are bulk packaged, thus without the retail packaging, but the price reflects this difference.

Title: Not Full 256GB - But Good 231GB
Review: I bought 2x256GB 3.0 USBs. Only 231GB is usable per unit. I tried to reformat them a few different ways, but I could not get 256GB availability. They're fast and work as expected, but I feel it is a bit misleading to call them 256GB. Luckily the data set I am using is a little less than 231GB.

Title: A disappointment
Review: First PNY is a good brand. And 256 gb is a good space. But they were incredibly slow. I tried to back up about 180 gb of data. It took more than 24 hours for the backup to complete. It was this slow whether I was running Linux or Windows 10. It was also this way on two different computers. I tried a different brand 256 gb USB and it took only about 30 minutes. The USB ports on both laptops were 3.0. The only way I can explain the difference is to assume the PNY sticks were 2.0.

Review: I'm not really in the know when it comes to these types of things but I'd assume that if you buy something that says 256 you'll get 256 not 230 otherwise I don't think it was a bad deal just a flat-out lie. I could go on about how the packaging was just a plastic bag but I don't really care about how it comes. The only thing that saves it from 1 star is that I needed two sticks with more than 200GB.
