Tips from Pasta Masters:
A good dough mixture should never stick to your fingers.Mixing the dough by hand ensures that you can adjust dough as you’re working.Use very fresh eggs and make sure to take them out of the fridge for about 1 hour before using them in your dough. When cooking pasta, use plenty of water so that the pasta can move around freely.Do not overcook pasta.Perfect for other culinary adventures like dumplings!

Title: Just Get One
Review: 67 yo male, first time trying making my own pasta. Watched a couple YouTube videos and took off. Made the dough by hand (flower and egg) let it rest about 45 min. And took off. Flowered the machine up a little, run my cleaner batch (discorded). Divided my dough ball in 1/4s, kept covered. Worked though the roller 7 down to 1 and some down to position 2. Couldn't tell a lot of dif. Flowered up the cutter and took off. I found it easier the cut the rolled pasta in half before running though cutter. Shorter length was much more manageable for old hands . Easier to keep it straight in the cutter. No law against 8-12in. pasta. Keep things lightly flowered. You pasta and the machine. Cooks pretty quick. I was around 4 min. and came out better pretty good. In fact I'll prob only buy store pasta again in an emergency. Start to finish about about 1:15 hrs including the 45 min. proofing. Easy - taste much better/fresher - Little time consuming - but easy and rewarding. Go for it - Remember a little flower is your friend - think of it as your oil.

Title: I've never made pasta.
Review: So, I've never made pasta before, but I made it on my first try. I found a recipe online that called for a little less than the amount of flour specified in the manual. I used 2 cups of flour, 3 eggs, a little extra virgin olive oil, and salt. The dough was pretty easy to make, even for a beginner like me. I kneaded it for about 5 minutes, then cut it into 4 pieces, shaped them into balls, and let them rest.Next, I rolled the dough through the highest setting (8) on the pasta machine. I followed the instructions to fold it with flour and run it through again. Then, I jumped down to setting 5 and rolled it through twice. I thought about trying setting 4, but on setting 1, the dough was so thin that it didn't cut well for me. I found that settings 4 or 5 were best for making fettuccine for alfredo. The pasta cooked in 4 minutes. Honestly, I'll never want to use dried box pasta again. This was actually really easy to make and tasted fresh and delicious. I'm so glad my first attempt turned out so well. The pasta machine was good; it gave me no problems.. It's small, but for a few people or a small family, it's really all you need. For the price (around $25), it seems like a good deal. I'm happy I decided to buy it. Making pasta is so easy and worth it.I wrote this just samsung ai spell checked it and made the English right

Title: I works great!
Review: I gave it a 4 star because the instructions are a bit limited, and in one part has an error. It says to start on the widest setting and tells you that is "1". But it is not, on my machine at least, the widest opening is "7". So I work from 7 down to 1 instead of from 1 up to seven. Not a biggee but I'm glad I checked because it does warn you that you will damage the machine if you don't start on 1. Yikes! Also, my counter tops have a higher tile corner than what can work, so I have to attach it to a cutting board and then try to anchor that; it worked, but it was trouble keeping the board from sliding around while using both of your hands to handle the pasta and the turning handle. Would I buy it again? Sure; I would.

Title: Comparable to atlas
Review: I have the atlas Mercato 150. What I didn't know until I bought this is that most models are not properly calibrated to have the same thickness across multiple machines. They either lack the thickest setting (5 mm) or the thinnest settings (0.5 mm). My atlas lacks the thickest and only reaches a max thickness of 2.5mm which sucks for 100$. I use change (which has standard thicknesses) to measure the opening as well as rulers of various thicknesses. Long story short, I bought this to try and buy a model with the upper range (6 mm thickness) that my Mercato is missing. This is because I like to use this for croissants which need somewhere between 3-6mm widths on the final dough rollout. I will say everything everyone is complaining about with this is similar to the Atlas, the handle falls out on the atlas constantly, the anchor is too small, the machine is hard to clean, the thickness varies machine to machine. You are getting a decent quality for less than half the price. I will say the only tangible difference is the atlas makes less noise and weighs more, which is what we as humans superficially associate with 'better quality'. Given the issues with the atlas lacking various thicknesses, I think this is a good deal as I cannot afford multiple atlases (100-150$) to try and gamble at getting one with the upper 5 mm thickness range it claims to have. Although, theoretically you can just buy, and return, and buy and return, until this works successfully.

Title: Awesome buy
Review: Love the size, appearance and sturdiness, and that it stays where you put it since it comes with an adjustable clamp that holds the pasta machine in place. Itâs not too heavy and performed even better than I expected, was easy enough for me to roll the pasta through by myself several times and it came out super smooth, also I was worried about cleaning but it cleans very easily too! It was also easy to put back in its box for storage. Looking forward to making more fresh pasta at home 🙂

Title: Slightly off
Review: The gears are slightly off. The noodles stick to each other. I have to manually separate the noodles. Also it can only fit on my kitchen counter. I tried to clamp it on my dining table. It doesnât fit.

Title: Amazing product
Review: I recently started making pasta and I originally used a rolling pin. The pasta wasn't really coming out so I looked into pasta makers. I found this and was debating whether or not to get it because I didn't want to spend the money. I decided to get it because it wasn't a lot of money. I'm really happy that I ordered it because my pasta comes out good Evey time. This product is amazing quality and is much cheaper than many other options. Would recommend.

Review: The product is all metal parts - sturdy and once clamped to the worktop doesnât move.It takes a few run throughs to get the dough correct - what weâve found is you need to knead until itâs near enough dry before putting it anywhere near the machine. If you (like we did first time around) put the dough in slightly sticky - it becomes a nightmare to get all the sticky dough out and youâll have to leave it to dry before itâll come loose.Overall a wonderful machine - but takes a few attempts to get right but once youâve got it? Brilliant results every time and I canât fault the machine itself, only the human operating it.
