Title: Sharp
Review: My dog is difficult to trim nails and had tried cheaper ones and a Dremel but this seems to work best

Title: Not Bad but leaves a very rough cut.
Review: Iâm actually so impressed with these dog trimmers. I didnât realize when I got them that they carry the âTweezermanâ name. I love Tweezerman tweezers, they are usually high quality, durable and long lasting. They have a nice thick ergonomic grip on the handles, and a safety latch feature. The blades are small, and really made for tiny claws like a cat, or toy breeds, or tiny puppies. These nail clippers fall a bit short of what I had hoped as the locking latch is a bit finicky. And although the blades easily cut through my puppyâs nails, they left an overly jagged and rough cut blunt nail behind. Nothing a short walk on the sidewalk wont smooth out, but still expected a bit of a smoother cut when I know I have gotten smooth cuts from less known brands from the pet store.Overall not a bad purchase, but maybe not my favorite dog nail clippers ever.

Title: no Safety Stop shield = easier use
Review: Had a good quality Miller's Forge nail clipper for years, no shield. Always great. Tried one with safety cut guard, had good blade but obstructed my view. This Tweezerman? No safety stop, blade seems good, we'll see how it lasts.

Title: nice clipper
Review: This clipper is very ergonomic, so I am able to keep a grip on it while trying to cut my Chihuahua mix's nails while he is squirming around. The actual cutter part is nice and sharp, so it's a clean cut each time, which is more to say than some of the cheaper clippers I have used. I do wish there was an optional guard, as my dog's nails are black, so I worry about getting too close to the quick, but that's just my own issue, lol. Overall, these are great quality and exactly what you'd expect from such a good brand as Tweezerman.

Title: not a smooth cut
Review: These trimmers splinter my cats nails. They don't leave a clean cut. I was previously using a scissor style nail trimmer with the same shaped end and they worked much better. I'm not sure that these are an upgrade. They work, they get the job done, but it's not a smooth cut.
