Title: Good tips spread out, awful font, puzzle book
Review: The tips are good but are not concise in A Youngster’s Guide of How to Play Baseball. The tips are spread out and hard to reference. The font is awful— think mid-90s advertisement headlines fonts. This is more of a puzzle book than a book on how to play baseball. The most useful content was the glossary and slang, which could be obtained from other sources. My suggestion would be to make it a condensed smaller pocket manual without pencil activities. By the time most kids are old enough to read it on their own, it is not useful as they already have 2-3 years of baseball under their belt. If an adult is reading this to 5-7 year olds, the activities are pointless. It just seems to miss the mark. Please add sample pages to amazon so people know what they are getting into. This is less of a guide and more of a word search puzzle book.

Title: Not only is it full of great tips and tricks
Review: My son is 11 and has been obsessed with the game of baseball since he was 4. He loves this book. Not only is it full of great tips and tricks, but he also gets to add his own thoughts about the game on every page. The illustrations provide a great visual. I would recommend this book to any youth baseball player.

Title: On the field
Review: The best books are written by the coaches, managers, little league coaches, the men on the field - crouched at our kids level - teaching our kids the fundemental skills. Joel is one of those men and wrote a book for kids but packed with advice for coaches and adults too.
