Title: Totally plug and Play. Does the job.
Review: Just bought a new HP Windows 11 base unit to upgrade my home system to Windows 11. (as Windows 10 is being dropped from support in the next several weeks.) New unit had everything I needed except a CD to load data from my old disks. This fit the bill nicely. Just plugged it into an open USB port and done. Works perfectly. Much easier and less expensive than getting an upgrade from the manufacturer.

Title: Perfect combo of drive and hub
Review: Love that this is a one stop shop with a huh included. Works well. None of computers have disc drives so I have been using it for old CD and DVDs from 10+ years ago. My laptop only has usbC so no connectivity issues. Perfectly priced and easy to use honestly.

Review: Overall good product and worth the purchase - I would of had to return it if my laptop didn't already have a USB-c input, however, as the normal USB input with my laptop (HP Envy) did not work/recognize when a disc was present.

Title: Worked great out of the Box.
Review: Fast shipping, very well packaged. Easy to install, no driver necessary. Computer recognized the device as soon as it was plugged in. I need it to play DVD's. It's slow at tracking when you first insert the disk, but it worked fine and read all the information correctly without any problems or glitches. I would buy it again even if I don't know of this company. It was cheap fast and more than I expected since it has all the pass through's for memory devices down the side. The one issue I don't like is the extremely short connecting wire. If you are using this with a laptop then it's perfect. If you are connecting it to a desktop like me I would seek out another solution with a longer connection cord.

Title: Very disappointing
Review: I purchased this to play a disc and it refuses to give me my disc back! it’s literally stuck inside and the door won’t open. i don’t wanna take it apart cuz i want to send it back but idk if i even want to if i can’t get my disc out. i wasn’t expecting anything high tech, but i did expect it to give me my disc back once done._.

Title: Probably a good item, but not good for my computer.
Review: This item works just fine, but for some undetermined reason, there's a weird hardware issue with my specific computer and have not tested it on other systems, so take this review with a grain of salt. The device seems to work in every designed way, but for some reason, it crashes my computer while it is on standby mode. If I eventually determine this not to be the case for other systems, I'll update this review.

Review: This is a nice external disk reader - but at first it didn't appear to work at all. Tried it on a Linux PC, Windows 10 and a laptop with Win 11 - nothing, would read anything. I had plugged in the only USB-C cable to the back it and was plugging in the other end (USB-A) to the PC. After giving up I turned it over to see a hidden cable connected to the unit. Ahh!! Tried that and it worked perfectly.So - 5 stars for overall rating, but 3 stars for ease of use seeing it is REALLY CONFUSING to have a unit shipped with ONE extra cable that doesn't do anything.TLDR: Use the built in connected cable under the unit, NOT the supplied separate cable.

Review: So far it works well!There is one issue however, but it is not with the product: it is with the delivery... I've got standing instructions that deliveries are to be left inside my porch, but for the past while my deliveries have been left on my front steps, for everyone to see.My concern is theft... Which is can easily happen with deliveries left out in the open like that.
