Title: Resembles a real tree
Review: Opinion seems to be divided on these little trees, so I'll try to make clear why they meet some people's expectations and are disappointing to others; it all depends on what you wanted.Admittedly, this tree doesn't look exactly like the picture, although if you fiddled with the branches long enough, you could probably get pretty close. The picture is of a perfectly shaped tree, the kind you don't see in nature. If you want to add a lot of ornaments to your tree, you might want a tree where the branches on each level are all the same length - which is not the case here and, again, not how nature makes trees. The are several sizes of branches on this tree, and the short branches that give this tree its lifelike appearance are not long enough to attach or support ornaments - so if you're intending to decorate the tree with more than a few small ornaments, it wouldn't be your best choice.The tree is made by the Kurt Adler company which, in my experience so far, makes Christmas decorations of very good quality. This tree has obviously been intended to look real, with the imperfections of a real tree, and it accomplishes that very well. The long branches, which give the tree its shape, are interspersed with short branches (as in a real tree) that fill in the spaces and give the little tree its bushy appearance. Unlike many artificial trees, the short branches provide good camouflage so that you can't see through them to the artificial "trunk" they're attached to. A particularly nice touch is the varied color of the "needles", some of which are brownish, like the branches of a real tree. The overall look is about as close to an actual tree as could be achieved in an inexpensive small tree. The faux wooden tree trunk at the base is completely convincing looking, and a great improvement over those nasty plastic tripods that take up lots of space and are difficult or impossible to hide. The tripods, however, give a tree more stability and these small trees are easier to knock over. If your trees will be subject to a lot of jostling, these might be a poor choice. That said, a little forest of varying sizes of these trees has a wonderful effect, especially surrounded by any sort of artificial snow.

Title: Very trashy
Review: I expected this to be skimpy and thin but that would have been ok for what I wanted to do with it. However, the "wood" base is some kind of super flimsy thin "wood", if it's wood at all, and will not hold up. The burlap around the base has a very wide weave, it was frayed 1/2" all around. The burlap was tied on in a very sloppy way - one side of it was huge and high up the tree, the other side was about an inch, so it looks stupid. Those strings were frays from the burlap and were all in the tree. It's crooked and I couldn't fully straighten it. I'll wait til next Fall and find one somewhere else!

Title: Not as advertised. Disappointed.
Review: This tree is much smaller and thinner than I imagined. It does not look like the picture, other than that it has a wood base. It is advertised to have 125 tips, but has 95, which is a disappointment. I counted them, as it appears to be much thinner than pictures. I think the extra 30 tips would make a substantial difference on this tree. I cannot use this tree for my child's bedroom, as planned and is a disappointment to her. I will take it to work and keep it on my desk instead. I will have to continue my hunt for her Christmas tree, but it won't be from this company. It is likely good quality, but it is not as advertised.

Review: At first we were going to return because they were short. After looking at them we figured out what we could do with them. The price was great and using them will make a few nursing home residents so happy for christmas.

Title: I THINK THIS TREE IS PERFECT FOR THE PRICE!
Review: I wanted to add a review to all these other reviews, I'm not saying they are wrong, sometimes things go wrong. But AMAZON is the best at resolving your unhappiness with an item. Anyway, I bought this tree pretty recently and some of the other reviews were older- so maybe they have improved the quality of their tree. But it's a very nice tree especially for the price. I am extremely happy with it. I am an artist and I decorate trees to sell for the holidays-so I am very particular when it comes to quality. If I start working on it soon I'll post some pictures. But I'm posting a pic of how detailed my decorated trees are. THIS PIC IS NOT THE TREE LISYED HERE... it's just to show I would not work with a tree that wasn't perfect for this quality of work. I will take a photo of the actual Kurt Adler tree in a bit and post it. Btw Kurt Adler's products are very reputable and made with the highest standards with out having to break your bank..I am adding on to this review that this tree IS 24" high. Remember they always count from the base. In my pics you can see a ruler. My ruler is 16" so it's 16" plus another 8" which DOES equal 24". See pic that are UNDECORATED...the tag is still on and I also haven't even puffed it out perfectly yet. HOPE THIS HELPS PEOPLE. It always seems people write reviews when they are unhappy, which I understand but more people including myself should review when they are happy with the product they bought. Just saying.

Review: I purchased a 24" tree with a large WOODEN base I received a tree with a 2 inch base. There is no way this tree will hold any ornaments without falling over. Very disappointed this seller should not be allowed to see this item under AMAZON's GOOD name !!!
