Title: Ice cream container
Review: This ice cream container is awesome! It is double walled and a tight fitting lid to prevent freezer burn on your homemade ice cream-it is easy to take apart, three pieces including the lid and clean by hand-which most kitchen products recommend anyway-it it five stars from me and is very well priced-I recommend over and over! I am very satisfied and very fussy about anything I purchase for my kitchen use! It’s top notch!

Review: Update: the seller will replace my units! Excellent customer service.The shape is very nice to scoop ice cream out. Neither unit will snap closed once in the freezer.

Title: Keeps ice cream very cold and it's the perfect size at 1.5 QT
Review: I like the long design so you can drag scoop across to collect in scoop rather than dig ice cream out from a deep container. The top lid should be kept very clean so it closes well. Sometimes it seemed it flexed as it was in the freezer and came off quite easily. If it were a bit deeper groove that snapped in better it would improve on product design. Overall it is working and has not shown any cracks or wear. I also love the silicone non slip bottom. I will see how it holds up over time.

Title: Cheap Junk
Review: Total junk! Don't buy it. When I first got them I thought they were cute. A few days after getting them, I filled them with ice cream. When I filled them I noticed that one container had a lid that didn't fit correctly. It was too tight. It kept popping loose. So I wrapped a rubber band around it to hold it in place. The second time I filled them, both lids were too tight. They both kept popping loose. I pressed too hard on one of the lids, due to frustration, and it broke in half! It's tool late for me to return them now, so I guess I'll have to throw away the one with the broken lid, and continue to wrap a rubber band around the other piece junk. Also, they fill with water when you wash them. They're actually 2 pieces stuck together. You have to pull them apart and wash both pieces separately. Then dry them and push them back together. All in all, my opinion is, they are Dollar Store plastic junk.

Title: Well Insulated… But Lid Challenges
Review: I bought six two-packs of these… I made several batches of homemade ice cream to give out to different offices at work.The pieces come apart well, but there were lid issues. They did not always fit tight - not sure if lids were mixed up between the different containers. There was room for a good seal, but a couple did not hold tight.Also, in the two-packs, one was red and the other was a darker shade, like a maroon. No big deal here, but an FYI.

Title: Lids do not stay on
Review: I like the size, shape and material of these ice cream containers. But like many of the reviews stated (which I stupidly ignored), the lids do not close properly and stay on. They kind of click in then just pop open most of the time. A few times I have gotten them to stay closed. When not using them, the lids seem to work fine - its when they have the ice cream in them and are in the freezer. I have to duct tape them to keep them shut.

Review: First of all, it is almost impossible task to protect your home made ice cream from freezing into an ice block after a couple of days in the freezer. Tried many different jars that claim to be hermetic but not good enough for ice cream.This one was the best of them all, definitely better than Rubbermaid.
