Review: I recently got this mini vegetable steamer, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. I bought it to replace the old one that broke and I've been using it to steam vegetables and cook eggs. It's super easy to use, clean, and store, which is perfect for a small kitchen. Review: My previous one (another brand) had suddenly "died" & I couldn't find another one of the same brand.So - I got this one.It's GREAT ! It not only works better than my old one it's stainless (the old one was plastic).And the plastic steamer "baskets" from my old one fit it - so I can stack them with the new one to steam several items at a time.

Review: I recently purchased the Elite Gourmet Electric Compact Mini Food Vegetable Steamer with 400W. It's perfect for steaming small vegetables. The vegetables come out nice, and the raw crisp is warm, and I love it. It's easy to use and clean, and you can steam any vegetable. This steamer is especially great for broccoli, California asparagus, and Brussels sprouts. It's so convenient, and I can prep all my weekend meals with meals. Overall, it's a great little kitchen appliance.

Title: BEWARE; rusted heating element.
Review: BEWARE; So this is a updated review; so 5 weeks after I bought this steamer, after maybe only used it for 6 times, the heating element is already rusted, ( see pic ), which means theirs a food safety concern now, originally I wanted this steamer for making more healthy meals for my family, now that this thing is rusted, I really have to find a way to get rip off the rust before use it again,I rally post updated review; but just wanted you guys to beware of this issue.So bought this because I wanted to make more healthy dishes ( compared to fry food or BBQ before ) if I had Knew how convenience this is I would have bought 4 tier instead of 3 tier. So one of the tier now I put pasta or Spaghetti, noodles, rice or what ever, the other would be meat fish etc then the last would be vegetables and shared with eggs or what ever.I might needs to buy one more or buy an extra tray if I can find it. Put cold water up to the max link turn on the timer, The timer is from 1 minute up to 60 minutes, for me I always just set it for 20 minutes and after it stop, leave in their for 5 minutes, remove / transfer all of the dishes to the table, done. The reason why a 4 star instead of a 5 is because it has a lot... of steam / smoke ( I am worry about my ceiling in the long run from this steam / smoke. So my advice to all; turn on your fan from the stove or if you don't have one, go buy one, unless you don't care about your health; steam / smoke might cause mood which is a health hazard.... but never the less; this electric steamer is a great product compared to using stove method or fry food anyway, would I buy it again; well; let's hope it will last for more than a while!!!! ( tradition steamer last forever ).

Title: Okay for the price
Review: So we needed a little steamer anyway. I wanted to be able to steam vegetables and didn't want to use the microwave anymore. My mom also steams a lot of stuff like Korean rice cakes so I thought this would be a good addition to our little team of kitchen appliances.I first tried to steam some home made banh baos in this little steamer. I could fit three medium size baos in each level. Of course there wasn't as much steam rising to the top level as much as I thought there would be. I thought maybe that was because of the parchment paper on the bottom of each bao stopping the steam from rising. Later, I found out that wasn't really the case. So the ones on the bottom tray were ready way before the other ones - so I just ended up rotating them out and it worked out perfectly.So after all the baos were cooked I realized that there was a LOT of condensation in the trays which means that all of them were getting steam, it's just that the steam in the top tray wasn't as hot as the second's and the second's wasn't as hot as the bottom's. Maybe it was because it was because of the type of food being cooked and the steam absorption.The water reservoir isn't very big and doesn't hold very much water. I had to refill it a second time but filled it with hot water from the kettle so I wouldn't waste any time. As you can see, there was some flour from the baos on the side of the reservoir/base from the baos after all the steaming was done. I was able to wipe everything out though.Be careful with the middle of the steaming trays when you are cleaning them. I forgot that they pop out. I don't think that all the food will steam evenly but I think that might work to my advantage. Maybe put sweet potatoes on the bottom and other veges in the other trays. Like I said, if you rotate them out, the cooking evens out, so you're good. Overalll, not a bad buy. For the price, I really can't complain. I'm still looking forward to cooking with it.

Review: It’s exactly the right size haven’t used it yet but I’m sure it’ll be just fine. Doesn’t take up a whole Lotta room on the counter. The one thing I like about it is it’s not a digital clock I’ve had them before and all they do is break this one here you turn the dial to the amount of minutes you want And you’re done after Iuse it I’ll send another reviewOK I’ve used it for two weeks now I’ve steamed brussels sprouts and carrots it takes maybe 30 minutes to do brussels sprouts carrots probably the same length of timeThis is an excellent steamer. It looks small, but it’s not. It holds a lot of produce.

Review: The unit works perfectly and steams veggies as we like. You have to be very careful when removing the food as the steam is very hot.The only negative thing I have to say is the water fill like is hard to see and it is important not to overfill or let the unit run dry. I have not tried anything other than veggies in it as that is mainly what I wanted it for.The first unit I received was broken/cracked. But it was returned, refunded and when I ordered again it was perfect. The delivery on the first unit was really slow, probably because of Christmas but the delivery on the 2nd unit was within a few days. The unit was well packed.
