Built for comfort in the coldest weather. Ultralight, ultrawarm 650 fill Premium Down extends from head to below the knee. Fleece lining in the upper body, and at the collar and interior storm cuffs provides additional protection. Polyester shell with StormRepel durable water-repellent (DWR) finish sheds moisture so it doesn't soak into the fabric.

CARE

Detach faux fur and secure all garment closures before laundering. Machine wash warm delicate, separately, using mild detergent only. Do not bleach or use fabric softeners. Rinse thoroughly and remove promptly. Tumble dry low. Do not hang to dry. Do not iron or steam. For best results, dry with clean tennis ball.

Title: Best winter coat ever...
Review: My previous black Eddie Bauer Lodge Duffle coat was finally seeing some wear after many years. I wanted to stay with the same design and upgrade to a happier color, so I chose the purple, which is fun and beautiful. You simply cannot beat the excellent length, the drawstring that allow a bit of fitting at the waist, the snaps and zippers that keep you warm, and the detachable hood. I also love the inner cuffs that keep out the drafts. Reasonably priced for all of the wonderful features I look for in a top notch winter coat for our New England winters!!

Review: Come on, Winter! Why are you stalling???This coat is soft and super warm, and I can't wait to wrap up in it. I bought one for my mom-in-law and immediately coveted it for myself! (Maybe I would have snatched it, but no--she's too tiny, and too nice. I had to get my own.)I like that it's long--but not confining; this is because of the two-way zipper that can be opened at the bottom as well as the top, to free up my legs. This is especially nice for sitting down in the car. Cozy fake fur hood! Yum! I love my coat!

Title: Runs small! Costumer service to exchange is a headache
Review: This coat is beautiful and I'm sure it'll be very warm when the Chicago winter hits. It's nice and long. Hits me around mid calf and I'm 5'6". That being said, I agree with the reviews, it runs small, order up, seriously. The exchange process is very frustrating.I am currently in the process of trying to exchange this for a medium instead of a small, the sleeves were very short, and it's pretty tight with a sweater underneath. I usually wear a small with other outdoor companies like Columbia and Patagonia, so this seems on the small size. I'm 5'6", 135 lbs.This isn't really an Amazon Prime item. You have to do all returns and exchanges through Eddie Bauer, the item takes 5 days to ship and arrive, and you have to pay $5 if you want return the item to Amazon. You can't even take it to an Amazon locker to drop it off if you do return it, you have to pay $5 to find and drop off at a UPS location.I had to call Eddie Bauer directly to get a free prepaid exchange/return label emailed to me. It's going to take 24-48 hours to receive that email, and I have to call to request the next size up after I get the lable.I'd just order this directly through Eddie Bauer if you're going to! Worth the price difference. Maybe even think about going to a store to get it.Product = greatCustomer service = almost not worth the coat

Title: This coat is a winner
Review: I purchased this coat originally for a trip to Chicago back in Feb 2023 with temps low 20's F. Pulled out to use for a second trip back to the windy city Dec 2023 with temps 30-40's F. This coat truly is the perfect piece for so many reasons. Fashionable, comfortable, easy wear, price point. This coat did the job of keeping me nice and warm. Highly recommend.

Title: Terrific coat at a great price.
Review: I love this coat! I returned an LL Bean down coat because the zipper only came down to mid thigh, even though the coat was long. This coat zips almost all the way down. I have no problems driving with it zipped, but you can always unzip from the bottom up a little. It is WARM. I live in a very cold climate with high winter winds. I never felt cold with this coat on. It’s also so comfortable and lightweight. Pockets are big enough, hood is fine (I unzipped the fake fur off immediately), fits as expected (I got a small, I’m 5’8”, 138 lbs. I washed it and dried it twice this winter with no lost feathers. Great price.
