Title: Spreads well, dry feel, minimal to no white cast
Review: I used to work as a lake lifeguard and have been wearing sunscreen on runs almost daily recently. There are a few good options out there, but even the "dry feel" sunscreens from skincare brands tend to feel a bit greasy and leave a shine, not to mention have some runoff that can burn my eyes when I'm sweating on a run during a hot day.Australian Gold Mineral SPF 50 spreads easily and evenly and leaves no noticeable white haze on my (tan Caucasian) skin. More importantly, it doesn't feel or look oily or greasy and lasts at least as well as the chemical sunscreens I used to use.In summary, it spreads well, feels like nothing, and protects well in spite of sweat or water—I can confidently recommend it.

Title: I use this everyday in all seasons
Review: I have very sensitive skin and this doesn’t cause me any problems at all. I particularly love that it’s a 50 spf.I wear it under makeup or alone. And yes, I do use it on my face as well as neck, chest, arms ect. They also have a tinted version with three colors to choose from which I love because I am very fair skinned and other tinted spf products are too dark for me. They are all around great products and I highly recommend you give them a try.The non tinted version does have a slight white cast until it sinks in but it’s not enough to bother me. and the price is fantastic in comparison to others I’ve used in the past.

Title: Better than the US Brands
Review: I’ve been using this sunscreen for several months now and will definitely be buying again. I wanted something that was more than just sunscreen in as far as skin care but I also wanted something that was mineral based. I live in Florida and am a melanoma survivor. You name it, I’ve probably tried it including Elta MD. This sunscreen goes on like a dream, it doesn’t even feel like sunscreen. And it’s withstood the Florida sun test - I don’t get burned and I don’t have to reapply every 20 minutes. There’s only two things that kept me from giving it 5 stars:First, the scent is really strong. It wears off but it does taking getting used to.Second, my face doesn’t like it. It dries out, although my arms and the rest of my body are fine. They do make other variations so I’ll probably try one of those next but as a whole, the brand it top notch and I’d recommend.

Title: Best reef-safe sunblock
Review: I tried around 8 different reef safe sunblocks. Australian Gold and Thrive were the best. The only reef safe sunblocks are those that use either non-micronized Zinc Dioxide, or non-micronized Titanium Dioxide. Any sunblock with other active ingredients may claim to be reef safe, but it isn’t.Why wear reef safe sunblock? All water goes to the ocean eventually, so I try to use this stuff as much as I can. But you especially should wear it if you’re going anywhere near a tropical coral reef. They’re vital ecosystems that are having enough trouble as it is. Hawaii has already banned a few of the most harmful ingredients, though there are still plenty out there that are still technically allowed.Australian Gold isn’t tacky, and spreads reasonably well. What surprised me is that it’s actually functionally better than chemical sunblock. I’m pale and I’ve pretty much never burned while wearing this stuff, even when going in the water. “Water resistant 80 minutes” is actually true with this sunblock, whereas with most chemical sunblocks I’d say that’s a false claim (more like 30 minutes).Because it’s fairly chemically inert, it doesn’t hurt if you get it in your eyes. I can actually spread a bit on my eyelids if I’m expecting a ton of sun exposure (surfing, etc), and on my lips.It does whiten you up a bit, and if you’re hairy, there’s sort of an art to spreading it without leaving white patches visible. If that bothers you, you should try Thrive. While I don’t know if it’s as waterproof as Australian, and it might sting eyes, it’s an oily mineral sunblock that spreads more evenly than anything else I’ve tried. Australian Gold is king when it comes to being functionally the best. Thrive is probably cosmetically the best, and will probably protect you just as well if you aren’t going in the water. One more word of warning, not all Australian Gold sunblocks are reef safe. They do make non reef safe, chemical sunblocks… make sure you buy the ones that say “botanical.”

Title: Smooth, smells great, and most important works!
Review: Love the application of this sun screen. I’m always looking for less toxic options without the thick white cream that doesn’t apply well. This is smooth, smells great, doesn’t leave a film on my skin, and I didn’t burn! I have very fair skin and am a melanoma survivor so I go though a lot of sunscreen. I will be using this again!

Title: Liked it, it did the job, but I didn’t love it.
Review: So this was my first time trying a mineral sun screen, and perhaps some of my opinion is coming from the fact that I’m used to ChemicalSPF. And so I’m used to different consistency texture and look. But that being said, I think this sunscreen broke me out when I first started using it, it wasn’t to bad just a few more pimples then usual for the first two weeks. I think my skin got used to it tho and stoped breaking out from it. I’ve bin using it for a couple of months naw and im almost done with the bottle so obviously I liked it enough to go thro it. That being said I do not agree with the reviews that say this leaves no white cast. I am VARY pail, let it be known practically translucent and from the first time that I tried it I could see the white cast no matter how much I tried to blend it out. The white cast dosnt go away thro the day ether. Was it a subtle white cast, yes on me but I could still tell the difference from knowing my own skin. I can’t imagine it would do to many favors for anyone darker then myself, feeling like it didn’t do me any besides some sun protection. I will also say the formula is vary thick and dry feeling, it dosnt want to move around on my skin much when I put it on. I had to mix it with my moisturizer every day to get it to go on smoothly, witch even then was sometimes a struggle. I will be trying other mineral sunscreens if I can’t fined one that I like more for a similar price range then I might come back to this one.

Review: I really love this product. Although it leaves a temporary white overcast on the skin after application; it doesn't feel tacky, sticky or greasy on skin. It leaves my skin feeling matte and smooth. It also doesn't come off easily when swimming.
