Title: Really good and powerful water flosser
Review: I bought this water flosser on my hygienist’s recommendation after dealing with some gum issues earlier this year. Since I also have braces, keeping my teeth and gums clean is really important. I’ve tried a couple of cheaper options before, but nothing has worked as well as this one. It’s powerful and leaves my gums and mouth feeling incredibly clean afterward. I can already feel the difference in my gum health. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that really does the job!

Title: Fun, messy, doesn’t quite hold enough water
Review: This definitely has a learning curve for usage. It works great for gently getting food out of teeth and I like that I can use it in the shower if I want. Honestly, I would recommend using it in the shower until you figure it out, because you will spray water everywhere if you’ve never used one before. Holds a charge well. I removed a star because it doesn’t quite hold the amount of water to get through a full cleaning cycle even though it times when you should move mouth sections. Compact and portable for small bathrooms.

Title: Much better than flossing for me.
Review: My dentist recently recommended that I change from string flossing to using a water flosser. He did not instruct me to add water flossing to my care routing, his instructions were to replace string flossing with water flossing.What a difference. I'm using the Quad Stream Nozzle and it removes food particles a lot better than string flossing. It leaves my mouth feeling cleaner and fresher too. I've only been at this for a couple of weeks so I can't comment on it's ability to remove plaque. I'll know after my next cleaning.I specifically purchased this model 3000 because i was concerned about making a mess around my sink and bathroom mirrors and this one can be used in the shower. There's a small learning process for using it and now that I've learned to control it better I now use it over my sink most of the time.I really like the change. It is easier, faster and removes food particles much better than string floss.

Title: Pump on Black 3000 Broke Within First Charging Cycle
Review: After using the PHILLIPS SONICARE CORDLESS POWER FLOSSER 3000 (WHITE), I loved it so much, I ordered a second "3000" flosser in black from the same Amazon product page. The white flosser has a USB charger cable, the black flosser has a proprietary 2-pronged charger cable. I think that the 2-pronged cable comes with an older model "3000" flosser, though the packaging on on my two flossers is identical (except for the color).The white flosser is performing beautifully through at least two charging cycles. The black flosser has failed completely within the very first charging cycle. I was concerned at first that there was something wrong with the black flosser's rechargeable battery, but now I think that the pump controller is the problem. When the flosser handle is fully charged, pressing the on/off button on the failed flosser causes the pump to operate in short bursts, if at all. The pump sometimes runs continuously, if the flosser is held tip down so that water can run through it into a sink.My guess is that water gets into the handle during flossing, and eventually reaches the pump, causing it to fail. Failure after a short time seems to be a problem with Waterpik cordless flossers as well as with these Phillips Sonicare cordless flossers.There is no question but that water flossers clean between my teeth much more effectively than dental floss. I need to use a water flosser, so I'll have to keep searching for one that lasts at least a year, or that doesn't build up black mold in the wand like some noncordless Waterpik flosser models do.You may want to purchase warranty coverage, if it's available, for any water flosser purchase. Also, be sure to read the one-star reviews for any water flosser you are about to buy.

Review: Very powerful and the nozzle provided was really "big" so unlike experience of sharp thin jet in my dentist's. Because of that, needed getting used to the bigger jet, and learning how to manipulate power and positioning. Still, it has some merit cleaning the gum edges.
