If you live in the city, take some sort of mass transit (ie. bus, subway, or train) into work, or just want to keep up with your kids around the neighborhood, our adult kick scooters just may be the perfect way for you to get around. Get around faster than walking, add some exercise and excitement to your commute, and enjoy your personal mobility.
SWEET RIDE: In an effort many viewed as overkill, the Xootr was designed by a team that normally designs race cars. The Xootr has ultra-glide polyurethane tires running on nearly friction-less bearings. These wheels give the Xootr the lowest rolling resistance of any small-wheeled vehicle. The glide is several times better than in-line skates, skateboards, and pneumatic-tired portable scooters. The steering geometry (camber, trail, wheelbase, etc.) was optimized for quick, yet stable handling and superior stability at high rates of speed. This also makes our scooters very easy to ride. We have customers as young as 4 and as young at heart as 85.GETS SMALL QUICK: The Xootr easily goes from fully deployed to a compact folded configuration in seconds. The small size allows the Xootr to stow in the trunk of a car, under a desk, in a locker, or behind a door. With the new X4 patent-pending QuickClick latch, transition from riding to folded in a flash! SIZED FOR TEENS/ADULTS: Because of our superior wheels, you will not spend all of your time kicking. You will be able to kick and "cruise." Unlike all the other teen/adult kick scooters out there, ours is the only one meant for real teen/adult feet. The Dash deck is long enough to have both feet on the deck comfortably goofy-style (one foot in front of the other). The micro adjustable handle-bars fit teens/adults of all heights and the sturdy construction ensures a perfect ride supporting over 800 lbs. GOES WHERE YOU GO: The Xootr goes with you on the bus, train, office, classroom, etc. You don't need to worry about it being stolen from a bike rack or locking it up. Simply fold it up and take it with you. STOP ON A DIME: Equipped with both a front brake actuated with a BMX-style brake lever and rear fender stomp brake, you will feel confident when needing to make last minute maneuvers and stops. No fears about going over the handlebars after a sudden stop. ASSEMBLED BY HAND IN THE USA: We have been manufacturing the Xootr kick scooter in the US since 2003. Several of our customers have remarked that companies just do not make products like this anymore. Much of a Xootr push scooter is crafted of aircraft grade aluminum and then carefully assembled by hand right here in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. LIFETIME PROMISE: We stand behind our products and offer a lifetime promise on the major components of our scooter. Can mistakes occurs? Sure, we are human after all, but we strive to make it right. This assurance obviously does not apply to normal wear and tear (tires, bearings, brake parts, etc) or by using it as a stunt scooter. If you ever have any questions or issues just reach out to us. No outsourced customer support here. If you reach out to us, you will speak directly with one of our team members at our facility who handle our products each and every day.REPLACEABLE PARTS: Why throw out an entire scooter once your brakes or wheels wear out?. When shopping for a teen/adult kick scooter you should consider what happens when the wear items need to be replaced. Not only do we have brake and wheels replacements, but just about every component of the Xootr scooter is available. We also offer a variety of DIY videos which walk you through servicing your scooter.

The deck of the MG is solid magnesium (no kidding) providing the lightest deck structure of our wide-deck models. The MG has a beautiful, sleek, and modern look. We believe the Xootr MG is the most advanced push scooter ever made, which is why it is our most popular model. It offers a wide deck which provides comfortable cruising, allowing you to have both feet side by side on the deck unlike other adult kick scooters. The deck is cast in solid magnesium, powder coated, and then CNC machined. The wheels are die cast aluminum rims with our ultra-low-resistance polyurethane tire. As with all of our models, the Mg supports over 800 pounds (363 kgs).

Title: High quality and easy to use commuter scooter.
Review: I've been using this to commute to college and it's been a very great scooter so far. You can feel how high quality the parts are and how it's well assembled. This is a very light scooter to carry. I always carry it with me into my classes and I barely have to exert any effort to bring it with me. It is relatively small enough that I can fit it under my desk or to the side of it without it getting in the way.The folding mechanism requires a learning curve as you must aim the front wheel perfectly with the base of the scooter in order for it to fold correctly. It took my a couple days to get used to it, but with practice I'm sure it will become one quick motion. I love the quick release button at the base when unfolding the scooter as it makes it so easy to unfold and go within seconds. As some users have mentioned, it can be rattly at times when going over bumps, but I personally don't mind it: it's actually a good safety measure as pedestrians are able to hear me coming. The front brake is a nice feature and combined with the foot brake, this scooter can stop fairly quickly. The front brake has a nice progressive feel so you won't accidentally lock up the front wheel. Some have complained about the bumpy ride, but let's be honest, I didn't buy this for comfort. It doesn't have a suspension of any sort so why would I expect it to ride smoothly over road imperfections?? They even claim that this scooter performs best on smooth pavement so don't expect this to glide over potholes. If you need a scooter that can do that, get one with a suspension. Just know that suspension scooters are much heavier. However, on smooth pavement, this scooter glides with ease and can go pretty fast.Overall, I'm very glad with my purchase and I can't wait to continue using it everyday!

Title: A purchase you will not regret!
Review: This is my first scooter and I was really excited to receive it! It came out of the box ready to go and is relatively easy to fold and unfold. This scooter is very sturdy! My husband is super tall and over 350#. he got on it with no problems and it rolled fine. I took it with me to a conference and not only did I easily maneuver a large Convention Center, I used it to get to places that were miles away quickly and efficiently. The one thing I would say, that I have not seen others say is that I happen to be a very experienced roller skater (quads) and I have had no problems riding and balancing on this contraption. My husband who is not an experienced skater, said he felt uncertain on it and that it made him a little nervous. Of course, it rolls great on flatter surfaces, but it goes over bumpier surfaces all right as well. I did not run into any kind of wet pavement, but I'm sure it would have the same problems that roller skates do outdoors and that is sliding. Standing in the right place takes some getting used to, but you will be happy with the wide expanse of the plate that you stand on. Because it's so wide it's very easy to switch your legs for kicking off. The scooter's handle bar also comes up very high, which I am glad for and my husband who is 6 ft 9 in could maneuver it easily enough. I understand you're not supposed to put all of your weight on the handle bars, but they seem super sturdy to me if you need to do so here and there. My only complaint happens to be with the wheels and I have the same complaint for roller skates. Why isn't somebody manufacturing a wheel that is good on wet surfaces as well as dry Surfaces? Also, why not use a softer urethane that people can buy if they want to skate predominantly outside? These two things have more to do with things that roll in general. This is a great scooter and you'll be happy with your purchase. I did my research and from what I can tell, you really can't do much better! The only other scooter that happens to measure up seems to be the GoPed and the price for it is higher (ridiculous!) than this one and the hubs on the Goped wheels are not metal - not good if you are heavy. I did like the little rubber outdoor wheel, but the xootr was cheaper and you seem to get more for the money, especially with the good-looking design. The Xootr does roll very well and keeps rolling well with less pushing.

Title: Great Fun
Review: I bought mine before I left on vacation to the beach. It arrived just in time and I didn't even get a chance to unpack it, just threw the box in the car. Unpacking was uneventful. I took a second and read the little instruction sheet that came with it it and learned to fold it with the front wheel straight ahead so it retracts into the forks. Nice. I got the hang of it right away. It's perfect for a nice flat place like the beach. Most days I could easily commute 5 miles or so on it. Today, however, I bucked a 22 MPH headwind on it and tired out after only a few miles. The return trip with a strong wind at my back was perhaps the easiest push-scooter trip ever. In 2 miles I kicked maybe three times. It was an awesome experience. The MG Xootr is extremely well made. The wheels really do glide over all but the roughest pavement. It's a little pricey but you're getting the Ferrari of push scooters for your money.

Title: Wow this scooter is actually worth the excessive high price tag.
Review: 6' 4" - 310lb - 41 yo - 15weThe photo show very clearly, side-by-side standing room for very large person. This is very smooth on flat surface. Over old concrete and roads, its deck platform is VERY low, you will scuff up the bottom of this quite quickly. No bending or flexing or feeling like this isn't going to hold well. Keep the minimum 1" pipe into the handle bar to ensure it bites properly.Pros: will handle large person, no issues. Very smooth ride. Not a powered product, so its a workout.Cons: VERY HIGH price tag, yet to see how it hold up over the years, maybe that is worth it. Handle bars are adequate, but much taller, might not be so fun. Not a powered product, so its a workout.Overall I would definitely recommend this product.
