Title: 2-1/2 years in, and it's still working wonderfully
Review: I have now had this for 2 and a half years. I use it regularly, it is what I have been using for all my baking, toasting, air frying, and pizza needs. I won't claim that it always performs perfectly as everything needs occasional tweaking when cooking, but so far all labeling has remained in tact,and it does a good job of cooking whatever I put in it. I love that it heats up quickly, then starts the cook timer, which means i can just toss in whatever, set it, and let it do it's thing, meaning that for a lot of cooking, I never have to worry about dealing with a hot oven, and it turns itself off after cooling a bit, which adds to the safety if like me you are often in another room, and sometimes distracted well past the end of cooking. I found it easy to get used to button placement so that I can operate it with the kitchen lights off.There are a number of functions I haven't used yet, and I haven't needed all the accessories that came with it, but they are great to have available.Personally I use the 2 racks, the basket, and one of the baking sheets it came with regularly. If anything I would get a second basket as I tend to use that the most. I have probably used this just as much as my microwave since I got it, it gives that properly cooked flavor you just don't get from nuking something. For the pizza setting, I recommend either collecting your pizza as soon as it's done, or reducing the cooking time, as I find it will burn the top of the pizza if I don't get to it before it self powers off.This is a heavy power draw appliance, it uses most of a 120v 15 amp circuit on its own when cooking. Please keep this in mind. I also have a 1250 watt microwave on the same circuit, I can't use both at the same time, I get around this by starting the oven, then set a timer on the microwave for how long the oven needs to cook plus some variation compensation, followed by the cooking settings for the microwave. This allows me to set both up, and then just collect everything when it's all done!

Title: A M A Z I N G ! ! ! !
Review: When I moved into my mother-in-law suite I needed an oven because of the limited space in my place. After rigorous shopping and reading various reviews I decided on the Ninja DT251 Foodi. It arrived sooner that expected and in perfect condition! I received it a couple of days ago and the first thing I baked was a frozen vegan pizza. To my astonishment the pizza turned out PERFECTLY! The pre-heat time is ridiculously fast! Very impressed by that. Now I'm roasting veggies and they are coming out gorgeously! I can not wait to start baking cakes, cookies, and biscuits in this beauty! I love the simplicity and functionality of this oven. I highly recommend this powerful counter top oven!

Title: This is a compact countertop all-purpose oven not a "toaster oven".
Review: Update 11/15/2024:Unfortunately about a week a go the fan in the back of the oven stopped working. I contacted Shark/Ninja about the fan stopping and since I was still within the 1 yr limited warranty they sent me out the oven base (I still had the racks, the cookware and the thermometer from the oven that quit working so Ninja just sent me the oven itself.....which is perfectly acceptable.) free of charge except for shipping which was a little under 25 USD. I got the base and it was brand new NOT a returned oven.....which was very pleasantly surprising. Also I was only on the phone with Ninja for less than 10 min. before they authorized a replacement base oven. I am extremely happy wth Ninja's customer service so I am going to bump up the rating from 4 to 5 stars. Now with that being said hopefully this oven will last more than 5 or 6 months.OG Review:I love this countertop oven and it can do anything and then some of what a full size conventional convection oven can. With it's two tier cooking capabilities it's great for making whole meals (I chose this older model over the dual oven due to smaller size constraints with the dual oven design. It's actually close if not the same overall size but contains two seperate compartments limiting the size of what you can cook.). Now while this is a great general purpose oven it's "air frying" capabilities tend not to be on par with most decent "drawer-type" dedicated air fryers. Don't misunderstand, this oven "air fries" perfectly fine it just needs more time and a little higher temperature due to it having a much higher area to heat. This tends to be the case with even smaller capacity "oven-style" air fryers as well. The "no flip" feature is actually not just an advertising gimmick either. it actually works. I believe it's due to the fact that the convection fan is positioned in back and not to the side as well as it having a heating element around the fan. I also see alot of people complaining about how loud the fan is but the higher speeds of the fan is what allows it to be an "air-fryer". The one thing I don't like about this countertop oven is it's a beast to clean being a stainless steel interior. It's impossible to keep clean primarily due to the fact you really can't use very powerful cleaners because you'll actually damage and degrade the interior if you do. Overall the 4 months I have been using this oven pretty much six days a week (haven't used my conventional oven since I got this) I am pleasantly surprised how much I like this oven. It was definitely worth the 229 USD I got it on sale for and I most likely would have still purchased it at the 329 USD usual price.

Review: Our main oven stopped working, and when we were faced with the decision of replacing it, especially in the current pandemic climate, we were a bit stuck on what to do. Should we brave going out into an appliance store to look at a new full size oven? Then go through the process of having the new full size oven delivered into our home? We decided against this and looked into a temporary solution that would tide us over for potentially the next 6 months to a year, and here enter the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Oven!We have been using the oven for about a month at this point, and this product has completely exceeded our expectations! It literally pre-heats in under 1 minute to temperatures around 425 F, which easily is 5 to potentially 10 times faster than our full size oven when it was working optimally! That alone cuts down considerably on cooking and prep times when it’s come to family meals! The size of the countertop oven is also incredible, obviously being not as large as a full size oven, but more than adequate for every meal we have been cooking over the past month for our family of 3!It’s also incredibly easy and intuitive to use, my 3 year old loves to help push the buttons to commence cooking, and if we let him know the Mode, Cooking Temp and Time, even he knows how to get everything started and cooking every time successfully (always with our supervision of course)!I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I can state that yes, the oven fan does make noise, but it is hardly enough to be considered “too noisy”. It’s not silent or super quiet, but it’s definitely no louder than a normal microwave.Also, some negative reviews have stated the oven is difficult to clean due to the design of the heating elements. I can understand this if food splatter or crumbs build up at the bottom of the oven, but after a month of use, we have not had very much mess result from our cooking, but I’m sure with more use we will encounter some cleaning challenges. We actually just use one of the provided cooking pans placed on the bottom rack for any items we cook directly on the third rack, and this has been able to catch any falling food debris keeping the bottom quite clean. In this way, I feel much of the criticisms can either be easily overcome, or aren’t as bad as some of the more negative focused reviews are making it sound.Overall, this product is becoming one of our most essential and most used kitten items in our household, which says a lot of an item we were only initially looking to purchase to temporarily substitute for our full size oven. To be honest, we’re now only using our full size oven for its stove top, which still works, and we may just continue to use the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection oven as our primary family home oven for the foreseeable future! Even when we get the option to replace our full size oven, which to our family, says a whole lot about the quality and genuine worth of this product! So highly recommended, and I’m also now very excited to look at other Ninja Foodi products to add to our kitchen collection!
