Title: Memorex or original?
Review: I've read several other volumes of Pearys books, all good. I did however have the strange feeling that this might have been cobbled from some of his other books. Maybe someone can tell me if I am wrong, as my books are packed away and I don't have ready access to them to verify my above comment.

Title: Cult Movies for the Horror Fan!
Review: As Halloween draws closer, it's time to go looking for some scary movies. And if your tastes run to the frightening, warped and sometimes laughably bad, you'll find that Danny Perry's "Cult Horror Movies" offers a great selection. Not every film will appeal to horror aficionados. These are cult movies at their finest, cherished and watched repeatedly by hard core fans who take pride in loving something ripped apart by reviewers and ignored by the masses.That said, Perry's collection includes a number of well known classics--"Halloween," "Psycho," King Kong," and "Night of the Living Dead" to name a few. And there are less well known treasures that will appeal to any fan of horror movies. This is one of the areas where Perry excels. He's found some wonderful movies I loved and had totally forgotten about. I'll be searching for copies of "Seconds," "Bloody Sunday," "The Conqueror Worm," "Night of the Hunter" and "Picnic at Hanging Rock."Finally, this book is enhanced not only by Perry's description of each movie, but by excerpts of interviews with the cast and crew. Sometimes the behind the scenes action is as fascinating as the film itself.This is definitely a book that will appeal to lovers of cult films, and horror movies. Fans of movies in general may even find something to capture their interest.A copy of this book was provided to me by the publisher an NetGalley in return for a honest review.

Review: **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest reviewThis book is a collection of 33 movies the author considers the top in the Horror genre. The author gives very in-depth detail of the top movies in this genre. He includes, not only the details of the movies, his opinions no the movies, but also information on the actors, the making of the movies, the stories behind them, and also sorts of info.I'm a huge fan of movies in this genre and having read several of this author's books, I was very interested in seeing how many of my favorites would be on this list. I was happy to see that I knew over half of the movies on there, I thought there were probably a few more that should have been included (Rosemary's Baby, The Omen). However, those are just my personal favorites. Overall, just as excellent as his other books. Highly recommend this to any Horror genre fan.
