Title: Extra large and auto-warm
Review: I purchased this slow cooker to replace one that I had for many years. That one had a manual dial with Low, Medium, and High plus an auto-warm. I loved that one but it finally cracked and replacing the cook bowl was just as expensive as getting a new one, so I found this.This one has a more Digital dial with the same options. I admit I was skeptical because this is not a known brand (that I was aware of). It had all the same features, plus it was the 8 qt instead of the standard 6. I like to make a giant pot of soup and eat off it all week. I did that, and with this one, we had the soup 3 nights in a row, and I put away at least 2 more meals. It did the job and did it well.I love this slow cooker - extra large - which I knew would make it a little more difficult to clean (and it does) but it cleans up easily. Because it cooked so evenly I did not have any browning or sticking in any of the corners, not even after cooking it 4 days straight. One feature that it has the other didn't have is that I can set it for the exact number of hours I want it to start cooking - say High for 60 minutes, then it reverts to warm until I change the setting. I love this timer, and it increases in increments of 30. When I first started my soup, I put in some olive oil and onions, garlic, and diced sweet potatoes, to simmer and brown. In 30 minutes it was ready and did not burn the onions (that was my first test). I let it go another 30 minutes and still did not burn since it had shifted to warm after 30.My soup was a success and the cooker did what I needed. It's not super fancy and is exactly what I wanted. Nice purchase!

Title: Makes some great casseroles!
Review: Love it and use it more than my regular slow cooker. Makes some great cowboy cornbread too without needing to put in oven at all. Made cobblers and also baked potatoes in it. All turned out great! Well worth the purchase

Title: Generally Happy With My Purchase
Review: Out of 3 slow cookers I ordered from various places, this is the only one out of the three that came completely undamaged. I had to return the other 2 because they came damaged and unusable.I've successfully used this 7 quart slow cooker 3 times to prepare meals. They came out well. I'm glad I finally upgraded from my old 80's round crock pot finally. The thinner crock of this unit heats up faster and is generally more responsive to cooking within a time limit than my old crock pot was.I like that the lid handle is big enough for my older and smaller hands to grip easily and protect my hand from burns. The lid is lightweight and fits pretty well on the crock.I've used the warm feature for sometimes 2 hours if it finished cooking before I was ready for dinner. It truly was only warm and not further cooking my food.One notable drawback is that it only has 3 feet on the bottom instead of 4. I think the unit would be a lot more stable with 4 feet on the bottom, and a lot less prone to tipping or accidents that could cause burns.4 feet on the bottom would be legal CYA for the company by minimizing the chance of accidents. 4 feet on the bottom would also offer a feature on this company's slow cookers to attract buyers with better quality versus what other companies often offer.

Title: Big improvement on old crockpots
Review: I love this. I've used crockpots frequently over 40 years and this is my favorite. It regulates heat much better. Very versatile, can also use the crock in the oven without the lid, just cover with foil (read manual for oven instructions). I did a lasagna in the oven for a crowd and it was so easy, turned out perfect. The shape is my favorite feature, more appropriate for cooking things like pot roasts, porkchops, and other meats where I often just did soups and stews in my old crock. Its lid fastens better and seems lighter for traveling, it's perfect for pot lucks. It's easier for people to serve because it's not so deep. Also, it has the ceramic pot that is easy to clean, better heat distribution, and healthier. I never use my insta pot as a crock because of its cheap aluminum pot, I only air fry with it. So if you have limited space and can only go with one crockpot, I'd highly recommend this, you will use it for everything.

Review: This crockpot cooks well but I have two issues. It gets very hot on the outside where all the others I have had over the years never got hot on the outside. Also the keypad is not very friendly, takes some effort to set correctly. I would not purchase this name brand again

Review: Had a round one for years But could never get a spiral Ham to fit in it. This one can because of shape and if too high just put foil over to help keep heat in. Like digital timer instead of just 4, 6,8 or 10 hr options. Love colour to match my Red Appliance Kitchen 🙂
