Review: This stuff works as well as the $60 antibacterial shampoo from the vet! My pit bull has sensitive skin. He gets itchy rashes, especially in the summer. Tried this for the first time 2 weeks ago cause the pricey prescription shampoo was on back order. This honestly works better than that shampoo! After the first bath, my dog wasn’t scratching & his skin looked less irritated. Gave him another bath this week & it’s helped with the dry skin areas.It lathers well & rinses easily. The fragrance is pleasant but not strong & overwhelming.

Title: This WORKS!
Review: For the last two weeks, I have noticed my cat excessively itching and cleaning her lower back/above her tail. I brought her to the vet because it quickly went from looking like dry skin to her scratching it until scabs began to form. It turns out it is not stress or dry skin, IT'S FLEAS!!! Ahhh! She'd been cleaning excessively to combat them. My vet suggested the likeness of this shampoo to ensure that the irritation does not become infected. The broken skin is leaving her vulnerable to bacteria and fungi!!!!This product has helped to reduce her irritation and offered me peace of mind, while she begins a prescription flea medication (I don't think the store-bought ones cut it, because my 7-week lapse in flea treatment should have not resulted in an outbreak - which leads me to believe the product was only subduing a flea population for an extended period of time).Long story short: This shampoo works to reduce the symptoms of irritation while minimizing the risk of developing bacterial or fungal infections in the broken skin, while the underlying issue (fleas) is being addressed. Delivery was within 24 hours and the price was right. I recommend this product.

Title: The best for our dogs conditions
Review: We are fostering 2 English Mastiffs that were rescued due to them being left outside in Miami Florida to weather the intense Florida heat. The dogs came to us with the most severe case of yeast infections that I have ever seen. Blotches of yeast on their underneath and fold areas. This shampoo was purchased and we have been bathing them once weekly and we have been using for 3 weeks now. The difference has been amazing. We know it is going to take time to clear it up as this has been left untreated for years, but their skin and hair feels so much better. It is a thick shampoo, it works well into the skin from the coat. You must leave it on recommended 10mins and then rinse. It rinses well. It leaves a clean scent although not overly scented. We will be reviewing in a few more weeks after more washes. We are so impressed and will be continuing to purchase this product.

Title: Works for fungal skin issues!
Review: Ketoconazole and Benzethonium Chloride are the active ingredients. Benzethonium Chloride is am antiseptic and genocide used to treat cuts and wounds and is found in the cosmetics and toiletry industry. Ketoconazole is given by prescription by doctors to treat fungal infections on the skin. Smear it on, let it sit a minute, wash it off. Repeat over a couple days. Great product. Smells nice. Reasonably priced. No prescription needed.

Title: Works Perfect, however, small bottles for people with large dogs
Review: I recently tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Antifungal Medicated Shampoo for my dog, who has been dealing with a yeast infection, and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I must say that the shampoo really does work effectively. It cleared up my dog's skin yeast infection and alleviated the scaly, greasy patches quite well. I noticed a significant improvement in his skin condition after just a few baths, which is a huge relief.However, the bottle is quite small, and for larger dogs, it doesn't last long at all. Given how frequently you need to bathe a dog with a yeast infection, I found myself running out of shampoo much quicker than I anticipated. It's a bit frustrating to have to replenish so often, especially considering the cost.Overall, while the product is effective and delivers on its promise, the small size makes it less practical for larger pets or for those needing frequent baths. I’d recommend it to others with the same issue, but just be prepared to buy multiple bottles. Three stars for effectiveness but deducted for the size and value.

Review: My dog started having an allergic reaction to another shampoo + she was going through some puppy pimple breakouts (cream dela crem...) so I bought this and started using it right away. I’d have to admit the purchase was on a whim, because I simply was trying to avoid going to the vet. Long story short, I ended up taking her to the vet due to another issue and I took the shampoo with me to ask her professional opinion on it. She said the ingredients differ from what she recommends/sells at her office, but they pretty much work the same way. I trust this vet because she has never tried to oversell prescription, so if your pup is having an allergic reaction or pimples, try this and see how it goes.My dog's fur has been improving since I started using this on her. She loves taking bath in general so having her sit in the tub for 10 min while the shampoo is doing it’s magic, is no trouble for us. Make sure you have some yummy treats next to you, cut them in small pieces and pamper your pup with those in 30 sec intervals. Before you know it, 10 min if over.The shampoo lathers wonderfully. It doesn’t have a scent, though there is no “wet dog” smell once the bath sesh is over. It won’t bother your skin either while applying it. I have sensitive skin myself and my hands don’t feel dry after pup’s bath sesh is over.Hope this was helpful 🙂
