Title: You won't think you need these until you use one
Review: I have a nasty habit of knicking my fingers when chopping and slicing too quickly. These guards definitely protect your fingers. One is often included with the Zakarian knife brand, but I purchased a few extras to have on hand, My only complaint is that they are generally made for people with larger fingers, and even if I bend the ring to make it smaller, the guad still slips around a bit. and takes a bit of finesse to cut.
