Review: I recently purchased the SEALY Electric Blanket Throw, and it has quickly become a cozy staple in my home. Here’s my honest review based on my experience with its design, heating capabilities, and user-friendliness.Comfort & DesignThe light grey flannel material feels luxuriously soft and lightweight. It has a premium feel, and the size (50x60 inches) is ideal for a personal throw—perfect for curling up on the couch or adding warmth to a workspace. The neutral color also complements various decor styles.Heating PerformanceThis blanket heats up quickly, providing warmth almost instantly. It features 6 different heat settings, allowing for customizable comfort, whether I need just a hint of warmth or something much toastier. The warmth is distributed evenly, without any noticeable cold spots. For me, setting it around medium is plenty warm, but it's nice to have the high setting for particularly chilly days.Convenience & Safety FeaturesThe 2-10 hour auto shut-off function is a fantastic safety feature and gives peace of mind. Title: Soft and cozy heated blanket that keeps my girl warm
Review: I got this heated blanket because my little gal freezes all the time while I run hot. She can't sleep cold and I can't sleep hot, so this seemed like a practical solution. The gray color matched the rest of my bedding more and she definitely approved of the blanket's cozy design and functionality and big size. The blanket is medium thick and pretty durable. I stay away from heated blankets but the one I got this for enjoys making herself into a burrito within this blanket, so I'd say it's a pretty decent quality product and a good value that gets the job done.

Title: Quality item worth every penny
Review: This blanket is amazing! Queen size is perfect for a queen bed. Heating element doesn’t go all the way to the ends which is excellent! Only where you need it. It’s thick, soft and warm enough on its own that I haven’t even needed to turn the heat on much. I did a few times just to test and make sure it works of course. Heats up fast and is nice and toasty at medium heat. Dual temp controls are going to save my marriage! 🤣 Hopefully this lasts for a long time. Very happy with my purchase and would strongly recommend this brand over any of the cheaper options.

Title: Nice a soft.
Review: This blanket would have been absolutely perfect except for two things. The temperature on low is too hot. We are elderly so I can’t imagine anyone needing more heat than that. The other issue is not having enough blanket to tuck in at the bottom. The blanket kept riding up over our heads. So every morning we are trying to retuck it into our mattress. Now, to be fair, our mattress is 22 inches thick but I really don’t want to be forced into getting an extra foot of fabric and sewing it along the bottom edge. The fabric is wonderful and the heating is very even. We have had polyester heated blankets before that were just awful.

Title: excellent blanket but with a controller that makes it unusable
Review: Blanket is soft and luxurious feeling with thin wires. A great blanket if all you need is a bed warmer before getting into bed.But the blanket is unusable if you want to use the controller during the night. It goes totally dark after a few seconds. I tried fumbling on my nightstand, looking for it, and then, when I finally found it, there are no physical buttons to push so I needed to fumble further trying to adjust the heat level. There is not even a dim light anywhere on the controller to indicate where it is. And when you do find it and do what you want to do, the light does go on but is quite bright and thankfully it does go off after a short period. Which is fine until you might want to adjust the heat level again. Blanket has since been returned. I don't think that whoever designed this controller ever tried using it himself or herself.I should note that, if you think you have a warranty from Sealy that you can count on for any problems, guess again. Sealy just licenses its name to some no-name company in China (shame on Sealy) who is the one that issues the warranty. From the looks of other reviews here which I have now read, a warranty from an off-shore company is not an advantage.I have replaced this purchase with a Sunbeam electric blanket at similar price point that has a dimly lit controller that stays on. An added bonus is that it is internet connected and I can just ask my Alexa to turn the heat up or down (or on or off) IN ADDITION TO using the controller. Plus, the warranty is issued by a U.S. company from its FLorida HQ. (The only problem with that blanket is that there is only a single controller for a double or king size. I don't need that but having only one person in charge of changing settings for two people is a strange choice. But this does not affect me as I sleep alone on a full sized bed.)

Title: Love at First Night
Review: Easy to set up and replace my Perfect Fit SoftHeat blanket, which I have purchased 3 times in 9 years. (When Amazon flags that item as a "Frequently returned item," you can assure yourself to buy something different.) Thanks to the reviews, we got this one and this blanket is nearly perfect. It is the perfect weight and feel -- super soft. All we would add would be a dimly lit display to remain on to show the blanket is really on. And perhaps a digital countdown for the automatic shut-off timer. It warms quickly and very nicely, and the auto shut-off feature is a real plus to keep you from waking in the night overly warm. Five stars.
