Title: Great deal for price
Review: It works very well for me. My yard gets lots of weeds, grasses, misc wildflowers and I needed something strong, yet lightweight, with guards to help me leave the wild plants I like, while cutting out some other stuff I don't want. I've used it several times now and still on my 1st reel.

Title: String feeder
Review: I like that's it's pretty powerful as it cuts weeds and bushes with ease.I'm not having fantastic luck in the string advance system. I went with a better string ( same size ) and perhaps it just likes the cheap string it came with.I wound the new string correctly, in the direction indicated and did not cross the string when spooling.I may just spool it not as tight and leave a lot of slack in the line to see if that works better in advancing the stringNot a deal breaker ...just more breaks taking apart the string housing .

Title: Light weight and adjustable!
Review: Iâve always used a 4-cycle trimmer and due to mine acting up and I donât have time to fix it right now, I decided to try out this little guy. I have to say that Iâm quite pleased with it. It has pretty good power for being electric and the shaft is adjustable, so you can adjust it to your height. Itâs very light weight as well.Cons:It has one line that comes out of the head, so it takes longer to cut through something. The line is round and it 0.65, so itâs thin compared to my 0.90 quad cut line from my gas powered weedeater. Due to it only having one string coming out and itâs thin, I go through the string a lot faster. You press a button to advance the string, but it doesnât always come out. I have to press it many times, then stop and check to make sure it advanced. The line also comes pre filled on a spool, so Iâm constantly having to buy more spools, which is pricy with the amount of line that I go through.

Title: Works well so far
Review: The electric weed whacker industry is interesting. This Craftsman model was obviously made at the same factory as the corresponding 6.5 Amp model sold by Black & Decker. What makes all of these machines, based on my experience with the Black & Decker model and customer reviews of all electric weed whackers is the line feed mechanism. Automatic line feeds are all insufferable. The Craftsman model has a button feed on the handle, and it did work for me on first use. But I am fully expecting it and/or the spool to fail eventually. My request to the industry, bring back the bump feed. Even if the bump feed fails due to improper line loading, you can simply turn the machine upside down, smash the button and pull out the line by hand. This does not require removing the spool and is infinitely easier than struggling with an auto feed. But alas that will never happen. Turns out all the manufacturers push the sale of pre-loaded spools, and the strategy is obvious. Make a line feed system that sounds easier and superior but design it to fail and frustrate the customers, so they feel desperate enough to buy pre-loaded spools. And if the customer buys line in bulk and loads the spool by hand and the feed fails, then you can blame the customer for not buying the recommended pre-loaded spools.Who would have thought that weed whacker manufacturers would learn a lesson from the ultra-processed foods and pharmaceutical industries. But enough rambling. I give the Craftsman 5 stars because it did work so far. I will update this review if the machine fails me in the future.

Title: Perfect Size Whacker
Review: This is just perfect for my quarter sized lot. Edging & trimming.Storage is excellent as it scopes down extremely small.Light weight is just what I needed due to poor shoulders.

Title: Push button line release stinks
Review: I bought this Craftsman after I lost the spool to my old Craftsman 12" trimmer which still worked well. This one has more amps but when you use the push button to let out line the motor bogs down and just stops. I guess you have to push the button repeatedly until line is actually let out. This one doesn't have the tilting head like my old one and the wire guard is worthless as it just gets knocked off whenever you do let line out. Also, the grab handle doesn't swivel around the shaft at all the get a better angle when trimming. Just not better than what I already had but I can't find a replacement spill anywhere as it's discontinued.
