Title: Well made, easy to use
Review: I have used this only once, but it worked perfectly. I used the smallest size holes for my tomato sauce. The tomatoes and garlic were oven-roasted first, then immersion-blended to make a puree with skins and garlic. Then I used the mill and got a lovely, seed-free sauce, as desired, with minimal effort. I think I'll use it for my mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. Not a reason to lose stars, but the disk holes seem to be punched from the wrong direction, although it works just fine, so it's probably just me - lol

Title: Stainless Stell Food Mill
Review: Well made and seems to work well. I bought this item for tomatoes and it seems to do a more than adequate job. Easy to clean and seems to be very good quality. Read the reviews before I purchased and I am not disappointed with the product at all.

Title: Makes Sauces More Authentic Tasting
Review: I wasn’t sure if using a food mill would improve my tomato sauces because I thought using an immersion blender would be the same. Boy was I wrong! Whole tomatoes definitely have their place, but the rich authentic sauce I was going for was due entirely from using this food mill. I make weekly pizza and I simply place the food mill on my pot and throw the tomatoes in. It’s super easy to assemble and clean. I removed one star because it isn’t easy to hang onto while you’re rotating the handle- the mill slides and moves around and I can’t get a good hold on it to brace it. Maybe if there were rubber stoppers on the feet to grip the pot? I’m not sure. But it’s very sturdy and well made and I’m glad it is dishwasher safe as well. I hang it from my pot holder when not in use.

Title: Easy to use, efficient, easy cleanup
Review: I like to do a lot of canning and I use organic vegetables and berries. However, berries and tomatoes both have seeds and it's time consuming to sieve the seeds from both and the peels from tomatoes. This food mill is a real game changer in collecting the seeds and skins. It's fast, easy to use and cleans up in a snap. Also very well made, designed and of a good quality stainless-steel. I highly recommend this food mill.

Title: Works great. Swappable disks are key.
Review: Great food mill. Love the swappable disks for different grinds. Used the middle disk for chunky, but still smooth apple sauce. Fine disk makes nice pumpkin puree - but boy is that slow. Ended up throwing the cooked pumpkin in the food processor.Very convenient to clean. Easy to disassemble, rinse, throw in the dishwasher, and reassemble. Or wash by hand. Have done both. Like it much more than the food mill I already had that has a wood roller that pushes the food. Doesn't push any more than this angled metal design and can't be put in the washer.I would buy this again.

Title: Quality product
Review: The Hungry Artisan Food Mill met and exceeded my expectations! Having a food mill in the past, l knew this was the product l needed to make applesauce. And in one afternoon, using the Mill, from 1 1/2 bushels of apples, l ( with help from my husband, made 19 quarts of delicious applesauce, without having to peel or mash the apples. The sturdy Hungry Artisan Food Mill, made of high quality stainless steel, was easy to use and clean. It comes with 3 sizes of stainless steel strainers that are easy to put in and out. Therefore with the mill, l can use it for a variety of meal prep tasks - many of which can be found in the free recipe book available from the company online. Thanks for a great product that l plan on using often.

Title: Food Mill
Review: The food mill is amazing. I used it for the first time making jellied cranberry sauce. It fit over the bowl and the pot is used. The grind ability was very smooth. The cleanup was a breeze much faster than me cleaning a sieve to get out the skin will be using it again to grind potatoes. I love this product. It saves so much time and the grinding process and the cleaning.

Review: So, first thing to try was potato's, russet potato's, washed, cut in half (don't even think of peeling) into pot of water. Bring to boil, simmer until they are done to your liking. Drain, run it through the large mill, works perfect, and tastes sooo much better. No skin in the potato's (mill removes the skin), just season to your liking and enjoy.Next had a bunch of tomato's from my cousins garden, washed them, cut them in half, (de stem them) into a pot, stir, bring to boil, heat to low. Cook for about 1/2 hour, stir often. Drain tomatoes to another pot, keep the tomato water. Tomatoes into the mill, med disk, crank away, be sure to scrape the good stuff from the bottom of the mill. Your left with lots of tomato skin up top and goodness in the pot. Screen the tomato water to remove the seeds, add it to your milled tomato sauce. Add your spices to the mix, reduce over low heat. And you have the best base for a tomato sauce the can be used in so many dishes. Clean up is a breeze. Great piece of kitchen equipment, ( will make great Christmas Gifts this year).

Review: This works awesome for us and making tomatoe sauce. Easy to use, easy to clean and no complaints. We run our tomatoes twice. First with large screen (skin), second time with small disk(catches seeds).

Review: We bought this specifically to make applesauce from about 18 pounds of small mac apples that we grew this past summer. We cut the apples in half and removed the stems, then boiled them in a large stew pot on the stove until they were soft and the skins were coming off. (It took 3 batches to do them all). With the food mill assembled and on another large pot (using the middle disk as per the enclosed guide) we then filled the food mill and cranked (clockwise to puree, counterclockwise to clean the disk holes) - it took only a very few minutes to puree all the apples in a batch into applesauce. When we were done we transferred the sauce into 2L food jars, making an even dozen of really great applesauce with almost no effort. Cleanup was easy.Awesome mill!!
