Title: Make fried foods at home in a snap!
Review: The Presto 05466 Stainless Steel Dual Basket Pro Fry Immersion Element Deep Fryer has completely changed the way I cook fried foods at home! With its simple and efficient design, frying foods has never been easier or more enjoyable.First and foremost, I have to mention the convenience of having dual baskets. This allows me to fry two different foods at once, saving time and making meal preparation a breeze. Whether I'm frying up some crispy chicken tenders or golden onion rings, having the option to cook multiple items simultaneously is a game-changer.I'm also impressed by how well this deep fryer maintains temperature. Even when adding frozen fries or other frozen foods to the vat, it regains temperature fairly quickly, ensuring that my food cooks evenly and comes out perfectly crispy every time. Plus, the stainless steel construction feels durable and looks sleek on my countertop. However, one downside worth mentioning is that it takes a bit longer than expected to heat up. While this isn't a deal-breaker for me, it's something to keep in mind and plan for when preparing meals. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall performance of the deep fryer more than makes up for it.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Presto 05466 Stainless Steel Dual Basket Pro Fry Immersion Element Deep Fryer. It simplifies the frying process, produces delicious results, and offers excellent value for the price. If you love fried foods and want to enjoy them at home with ease, I highly recommend giving this deep fryer a try.

Title: Excellent, Space Saving
Review: Bought for my husband to upgrade our thirty year hand me down deep fryer. Can cook twice the amount of food with hardly any more oil and it takes up hardly anymore counter/storage space. Very happy with. Easy to clean and store.

Title: Better than expected
Review: Well frying is probably something most of us should really avoid at home. It stinks up the house, requires vast amounts of oil we need to dispose of, is the least healthy way to cook foods, the fryer is bulky, grease spreads around the kitchen, 375 degree oil is dangerous, etc., etc.Still, when you want awesome french fries, onion rings, tempura, fried chicken, fish&chips or want to pretend you are at a carnival and make donuts, fried candy bars, have a seafood/fish fry or to just experiment trying to copy Long John Silver, KFC, or some other fast food or restaurant fried food you need the fryer.Reading the reviews for this fryer started me thinking about how my fried chicken would work in this fryer. How about the twice fried fresh french fries I saw on Food Network? Would tempura work? How would a home beer batter work? This item received very high ratings with just a few people complaining about the fryer not getting hot enough, so I decided to take a chance and order one for myself. My fryer doesn't have the temp not high enough problem. If anything, the fryer gets too hot and I have to set it around 350 vs 375 as suggested in order for the inside to cook without the outside looking like it was fried too long.I've tried my fried chicken and it turned out excellent, but the real star so far was the french fries. I bought a potato/vegetable cutter and did the twice fried french fries and they are really some of the best, if not the best fries I have ever had.Tried frying shrimp and making onion rings and I found out the secret. With fries and chicken you can place them in the basket and lower them into the oil. With a wet batter the basket should be lowered first empty and then you should use tongs or something to drop the shrimp, onion rings, or other wet items directly into the oil, otherwise they will stick to the basket. Had to learn that one the hard way. This fryer works great. If I were rich and had this thing built into the counters next to an indoor grill and six burner range it would work just fine.Cleanup is not bad at all. Wipe down the outside with a grease cutting cleaner. Dump the oil pan outside. Soak any stuck on food on the baskets in water. This isn't a day to day use item. First it would be really unhealthy. Second the cleanup stinks. Third the oil disposal is a pain. No, this is something to have for groups, for a week or so of frying foods every 1-2 days for a week, etc.All that isn't tied to the actual product. This fryer for it's function is excellent and I highly recommend it.

Title: Good fryer
Review: Have been using it alot since I received it. Heats up quickly and cycles fast. I use canola oil and everything has turned out great. I'm happy with the purchase. However it does have one flaw. The outside 'shell' is such thin aluminum you have to be very careful not to even touch it. Must move by the side handles. Just a light finger touch will dent it. The Styrofoam packing in the box even dented it. Seriously, not much thicker than foil. That being said, I've been enjoying cooking with it. Good price. Nice size for one or two people

Review: Bought it from Amazon Warehouse at 50% discount due to damaged packaging. Upon receiving it I found a 1 inch dent in the exterior housing but seeing as it was on the back side I wasn't worried about it. It heats up hotter than my previous T-fal for a crisper fries and calamari rings but it does take about 7 minutes more to get to temperature. Satisfied nonetheless.

Review: Great product, I’ve had this for a few weeks and used it 3 times. Mostly wings. It works great and the two baskets are great to keep wings and fries separate. The lid kept the oil from splattering. Worth the money!
