Low-temperature battery

Ordinary batteries lose more than half their power in winter and cannot be charged. Our low-temperature battery can still keep charging and discharging at temperatures as low as -4℉, and the 5300mAh battery can maintain more than 90% of its effective energy.

7W high-power solar panel

The size of a standard solar panel is 5.5*7.1inch, with a power output of 3.5W (less than 5W), making it impossible to charge the automatic chicken coop door normally during rainy weather. We use 7w (higher than 5W) high-power solar panels (size: 6.7*9.3inch), so we don't have to worry about continuous rainy weather. In addition, our solar panels are equipped with a 360° rotatable base, which allows for easy adjustment of the angle at which sunlight is received.

The rotating large opening door

Ordinary chicken doors that slide up and down are afraid of foreign objects on the track or being frozen in winter. Our rotating door can easily push aside small foreign objects or break through freezing, with a working range from -15°F to 140°F.In addition, the door opening size is larger, reaching 11.6*8.5 inches.

Intelligent anti-theft lock

automatically unlocks when opening the door and locks automatically when closing it. Only a locked chicken coop door can prevent the invasion of wild animals.

Step 1: Draw a square on the chicken coop with a height of 14.61 inches and width of 10 inches rectangular wireframe, and then use the automatic chicken door for physical comparison to determine whether the installation is reasonable.

Step 2: Cut according to reasonable lines.

Step 3: Screw on the corresponding screws and secure them.

Step 4: Install the solar panel in an appropriate location and connect the C-type port of the charging cable to the charging port on the automatic chicken door.

[Reliable automatic mode] - Our chicken coop door uses high-end chips from the US. After 3 years of iterative upgrades, its function of automatically opening/ closing through light sensors and timers has become very mature and stable.
[Adapt to Low Temperature Weather] - For the first time, a special low-temperature resistant battery has been used. It can be charged and discharged normally at temperatures between -4℉---140℉(-20℃---60℃) , ensuring normal operation of the automatic chicken coop door. The 5300mAh large battery ensures longer endurance.
[Adapt to Rainy Weather] - Exclusively using 7 watts (higher than the market's common 3.5W) high-power solar panels, it can still charge the battery even under low light intensity conditions.
[Power-off Door Opening] - Our automatic chicken door can be opened by mechanical knob in case of power failure.In extreme cases, avoid opening the door violently to reduce your economic losses.

Title: Game changer
Review: I recently bought the solar-powered automatic chicken coop door, and after using it for a few weeks, I’m pretty happy with it overall. I had another automatic door before, but it ran on a battery and It’s a hassle to keep on checkin on it. I feel way better knowing there’s no risk of them getting hurt if they’re slow to get in the coop at night.What I Like:Super Easy to Install, runs on Solar Power. The Safety Senso.Durable & Weatherproof: We’ve had a few rainy and windy days since I installed it, and the door’s held up just fine. Review: This Doirdon Automatic Solar Powered Chicken Coop Door with Light Sensor & Timer was an amazing buy! Cold weather is upon us and that means predators are too! A Sound choice for me and my chickens. I know they will be safely contained until the sun is up and I am as well. Super easy installation and has worked like a dream thus far through testing.I am currently installing on a new coop. I have had it on for 4 days so far. It opens and closes smoothly and on time I will update with photos and video soon of this beauty in action.I may be more excited about it than my chickens.Ps the emergency open feature is super smart.. works well too. I know if there ever comes a time that the power is disconnected or not enough sun. I can manually let them in and out.

Title: It is made of strong aluminum, good battery life, and good design
Review: I like that the material is of high-quality and strong. I just got it and haven't had time to install it. But, I tested the remote control functions of opening and the light sensor opening. Those functions work really good. I like it that it swings to open, the solar panel charges good, and the battery last long. It comes with a cord to charge it by outlet too. Once install it will last. I highly recommend it.

Title: Happy with my purchase
Review: The automatic chicken coop door makes my flock management easier. It was easy to install and setup. The solar panel charges it even on a cloudy rainy day. The only con is that it could of had a little bit wider flange for mounting but overall I am happy with my purchase.

Review: This is my third chicken door. The first was a Chicken-Run. It worked but it was not worth the money. The second was a cheap one. I got what I paid for. (currently not working) This is rigid, has a slightly bigger opening, and is easy to program.I need to know how to set the time and close time.

Title: Perfect chicken door for inclement weather!
Review: This door will be perfect for the rainy days or the super cold days when you need to let the chickens out but you’re just not ready to make it outside yet! There are multiple ways to open the door! You can set the door to open/close at a certain temperature or at a certain time of day! It can new open or clothes depending on the amount of light! But my favorite part is the remote! Nothing like opening the coop while still drinking my coffee! The ability to charge the battery for the door with the attached solar panel means you’re not constantly fussing with batteries and fussy chickens! (The remote will still need batteries changed). This is a great purchase for the backyard chicken coop!

Title: Not just for chickens
Review: When I opened it up I was not expecting much but…This was much bigger than expected. It was PERFECT for my pet pig. He likes to roam during the day and we have a coyotes around here so knowing he can go in at night. I might grab another one depending on the durability of how it lasts over the years but overall it’s been a week of use and no problems.
