"Newsflash. You don't buy me, a$#%^*e. You earn me."

The bride is a doll. The groom is the perfect gentleman. But the rest of the wedding party? They're the stuff of nightmares. Rich? Check. Vapid? Double check. Entitled? Not enough checks in the world. And the best man? More like the worst man.

But maid of honor Franchesca takes her duties seriously. Kidnapped groom? She's got this. Rude attendees? You just watch her handle them. So a best man with a big attitude and an even bigger...checkbook? Yeah, there's no way she's going to let that pretentious, judgmental jackhole ruin her best friend's wedding. No matter how sexy he is. (Well, that's the plan anyway...)

Aiden Kilbourn doesn't do long-term relationships. He's busy ruling the business world, and has yet to find a woman he can tolerate for longer than a month, two at the most, anyway. Conquering the unconquerable is basically his bread and butter. And he hasn't met a challenge that he can't win. But Franchesca Baranski? This smart-mouthed girl from Brooklyn may just be his downfall.

Title: So good ... Lucy Score at her best!
Review: First, I need to start by saying that I love everything that Lucy Score writes. However, with the blurb for this book I wasn’t sure that I would love it as much as I have some of her previous works. I was worried that we were going to have a story that revolved around a bunch of spoiled, rich kids who managed to find love in the limelight. It would be ok, but nothing great. What we got was so much better!Frankie is the girl from a working class family in New York. Aiden was born with a silver spoon. They are thrown together as maid of honor and best man for their friends’ upcoming wedding in Barbados, and there is instant chemistry from the beginning. Maybe on paper their relationship doesn’t make sense, but they are so perfect for each other.Frankie is a quick-witted, smart, hilarious woman who I could easily be friends with. Aiden is charming and quirky in his own way, and doesn’t let his status in life cloud his vision. He is realistic and honest, and I enjoyed his character immensely. As is common with Lucy’s writing, the cast of supporting characters is fantastic! From the wild rides through the streets of Barbados with a juvenile-delinquent schemer to Frankie’s best friend Pruitt who is filthy rich but just doesn’t give a damn what people think about her relationship with Frankie. There are also characters you love to hate (Taffany and Margeaux) because they add another layer of comedy to the story.Honestly, this is one of my favorite Lucy stories of all time. I hope she can find a way to give us a little more of them in the future. Maybe a spin-off or a novella?!? You should one –click this book. You won’t be disappointed. Also, if you have never read a Lucy Score novel before this would be an excellent place to start. It’s a complete standalone, but it will give you a really good sense of her writing style. You can always expect Lucy to deliver a solid, witty read that you will enjoy from beginning to end.I did receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, but I also purchased my own copy of this book for my personal library and to continue to support this author’s work.

Title: I'm all in when it comes to Frankie and Aiden!
Review: You know that feeling on Christmas Eve? That anticipation you feel as you lay your head down on your pillow thinking of the awesomeness that awaits you in the morning? That’s me waiting for new Lucy Score books. I have never made a secret of my love for Lucy Score’s work, but this book was even better than what I hoped for. This book is everything. It is rom-com perfection while also being deeply emotional. It is hilarious, sweet, and sassy all tied up in a bow and topped off with the perfect happy ending. I seriously went through all the feels while reading this.In the beginning, I was laughing so hard I was crying. I mean, this book is so funny! And the characters! There were characters I absolutely loved to hate and characters that found themselves in the most outrageous situations, but I could picture it all as if I was there, and I loved every minute of it. There were also characters I loved to love. Not only did I adore both Aiden and Frankie, I loved Aiden’s mom and Frankie’s entire family. Her mom was a riot, and her brothers were not only perfect, protective older brothers, they were also great friends to both Frankie and Aiden. I also loved Pru and Chip. They all had me on the edge of my seat swooning and waiting to see what would happen. Never before have I read a book that was both this funny and this deeply romantic with the perfect amount of angst and tension.Frankie and Aiden were completely perfect. In the beginning, it seemed as though Frankie was all fire while Aiden was ice, but there were so many layers to both of them! Frankie is such a strong heroine. She was driven and determined to a fault. She was smart and sassy. And while Aiden was a kijillionaire playboy, there were layers upon layers to peel back on him throughout this story. He was also vulnerable and kind and caring. And the chemistry between these two was off the charts!! They had the most fantastic banter and couldn’t keep their hands off one another. While they tried to fight the attraction, there was no way to ignore it. While they seem like an impossible match at first glance, they are really two puzzle pieces that were made for one another.I love that while this book begins with a destination wedding gone awry, things don’t end there. We get to follow our characters home and see what things are like in their real lives as well. This is not your cookie cutter billionaire romance. Boy doesn’t just meet girl, sweep her off her feet, and live happily ever after. There were so many twists and turns and layers of emotion in this book that I didn’t want to put it down for even a minute. And just when I thought I knew what was coming, there would be a little surprise waiting for me.I am “all in” when it comes to Aiden and Frankie. Buy this book. Buy a copy for all your friends while you are at it. You won’t regret it. I absolutely adore everything about The Worst Best Man!

Review: Great book, loved the story and just adored Frankie and Aiden. They are both strong characters that still get to be vulnerable and mess up. As always with Lucy Score there are many extremely lovable side characters - I just want to hang out and have dinner with Frankies family! ;-)5/5 stars, go read it!

Review: First of all. My print had 13 missing pages. Which was quit annoying.Besides that I found the story all over the place and so kuch was happening yet nothing was really happening that impacted the story at all.

Review: I gave this novel a five-star rating as I was highly entertained by the excellent story line, wonderfully unique characters, marvellous dialogue with rapid-fire comments between characters. I also found this story to be a heart-warming romance, along with being high on the humorous side of life. As well, I found there to be important life lessons that everyone should pay head to: our treatment of individuals, regardless of perceived stature and overmall just giving everyone the respect they deserve. Strong family ties, family unity, support and love also played out through the whole story.Recommended good all around reading.
