What do burgers, a detective, and a vegan have in common? Murder...
Christie Watson, private investigator, has never been this busy. Pets keep going missing, the local police have asked her to find out who’s behind a series of… meat thefts, and her cousin, in what appears to be a fit of heat-induced insanity, has decided to open a competing private investigation firm.
Christie figures life can’t get any more complicated, and she’s fine with that.
Until a local vegan activist is murdered right in front of her best friend’s Burger Bar. And there’s only one suspect.
Christie’s ex-detective boyfriend who hasn’t got an alibi.
With the pressure mounting, Christie has to get to work and prove that her boyfriend didn’t do it even as the police tell her it’s time to stay out of it.
See if you can figure out whodunit before Christie does in the fourth installment of the Sleepy Creek Cozy Mystery series! Grab your copy today.

Title: Wow! With so many twists and turns you just can't put this one down!
Review: Christie Watson in her newly opened PI business is very busy following small time cases including a missing meat case. At the same time Christie is charged with housing and watching out for her cousin, Agatha, who was sent there by a CIA agent to keep her undercover since she was in danger because of her dead father. Aggie becomes an albatross to Christie and makes her angry so many times, especially since she was supposed to work toward opening a bakery but decided she should be a PI too, and keeps messing up with Christie's investigations. Add to that the relationship between former detective, Liam and Christie. He is crazy about her and she is about him, but she is keeping her feelings of guilt inside when it comes to her relationship. A phone call in the wee hours of the morning informed Christie that Liam had a car accident and is in the hospital. To make matters worse, there was a hit and run in the middle of the road of a vehement vegan creating vandalism in town and Liam is the suspect so far. He swears he was chasing a black car that was the hit and run vehicle when he had the accident. So to prove his innocence, Christie will investigate. With so many threads in this book, we are taken on ride after ride and dead end after dead end as well as some very quirky characters and potential suspects. Is the meat thefts connected somehow? Can Christie solve the murder and the meat thefts despite the interference of her cousin Aggie? This book in the series is a real WOW! I couldn't put it down when I began as is the case for all the books in this series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Title: Turkey Burger Murder
Review: Christie Watson is a private investigator. She is very busy. Pets are missing, police have asked for help on meat thefts, and a local vegan is murdered in front of her best friends Burger Bar. Liam ends up in the hospital from a serious accident. Christie is determined to find the answer. But she also has to deal with her cousin, who has opened a competing PI office. A thoroughly enjoyable mystery in this 4th book in the series.

Title: An unwelcome competitor.
Review: Liam is the only witness of a late-night murder and his car chase of the suspect resulted in a serious accident that puts him in the hospital. In spite of his police skills, he canât provide many useful details. Christy intends to find the murderer and prove his innocence. Is it somehow tied into the theft case she is already working on? Her investigations would be much simpler if her annoying cousin, Aggy, wasnât constantly underfoot and complicating things. This is a cute cozy series. I like the characters and the humor. There are some good plot twists and some relationship drama. I received an advance copy of this book but my review is honest and voluntary.

Title: culinary/P.I. cozy
Review: Christieâs P.I. business is slowly picking up, and sheâs helping her cousin Aggie find her way...without telling her why Aggieâs dad sent her here. A rash of meat thefts has Christie looking for clues, when a murder happens right in front of the Burger Bar and Liam is a witness. The fact that the victim is his ex puts the snoops into high gear to solve it. Written with bits of humor and romance. I received an ARC gratis and have decided to do a review in the same.

Title: It was good
Review: I read this book as part of an ARC and it was ok. I feel this serious is way more complex in writing than it needs to be. I'm more for dialog and less description. Can't wait to read the next book in the series
