Title: How much is outdated?
Review: The copyright on this is 2018. I had forgotten that part until I started skimming the book and saw Figure 8.6 reference a "2014 Smartphone OS graph". There may be a lot of valid basics in this book when it comes to security; but for me, at the current time, 2014 is TEN years ago now. Not to mention how much changes in the tech world. I know a lot of basics when it comes to cybersecurity (have some GIAC certs, passed the CISSP [but not enough work experience], was a CCNA, etc.), and I personally want books with much more current information, even if covering the basics.
