Title: My favorite dumpling cookbook
Review: I own several cookbooks devoted to just dumplings, and this is far and away my favorite. The dough recipes, illustrative photos, and dumplings themselves are all great. I've owned this cookbook for a few years now and after cooking out of it for the last three days in a row I felt compelled to sit down and write this review. I have not made anything that did not turn out (when I followed the recipe) and several of the recipes are now household favorites. I love that I can successfully make these dumplings without any highly specialized equipment or ingredients (although both elevate the outcome). My particular favorites are the pork and chive dumplings and the black pepper beef. Buy this book!

Title: An Asian Cookbook for the Rest of Us
Review: Thank you for including alternatives when the cook can’t find the ingredient and is no where near an Asian market. Thank you for explaining the pantry items and how to make flavorful stock. Thank you for illustrations and directions. If you love dumplings and Asian soups, you will not be disappointed. There are a variety of choices among the recipes that I am looking forward to making.

Title: If you want to make dumplings you must get this book for recipes, technique and ingredients!
Review: This is a superb cookbook. I own several hundred in all types of cuisine by many of the best restaurant/chefs in the world . Learning a new cuisine is never easy as it takes a knowledge of both ingredients and technique that may be unfamiliar even to the best of chefs. This chef is highly skilled and I have made over a dozen of these recipes (dumplings and sauces) and have found them to be almost flawless - very unusual for me having cooked hundreds of recipes from many different cookbooks. If you want to make dumplings (and every one should) this is the book! Shout out to Myers and Chang book too - have eaten at the restaurant and also cooked all of the dumpling recipes in their book - but All Day Wong is totally dedicated to dumplings

Review: When we were downsizing, my wife threw out this book.I salvaged it from the dumpster, one of the few books that I did without her knowledge.I would do it again, even though I am well versed with the book by now.Useful and easy to follow. The thing about dumplings, you don't have to slavishly followusing all the ingredients to get tasty results. Substitutions allow for creativity.Love dumplings. Good reference book to have, even with internet ...

Title: This book will make a novice look like a pro!
Review: I tried making dumplings by watching video on YouTube and they were not coming out quite right (good, but not good enough). Then I got Lee Anne's book and her instructions were very easy to follow and my dumplings came out PERFECT. Her dough recipe is the best one I've tried - very pliable and easy to make (I'll never buy wrappers again). I also like the variety of recipes and different cooking methods in the book. The book itself has great photos and it opens flat, making it easy to refer to while I'm cooking. This is easily one of the best and most helpful cookbooks I've ever bought.

Review: The variety of recipes in this book is just awesome! The instructions & extra information included make this cookbook a must for beginners & seasoned dumpling makers alike!Lee Anne if you see this...I am deathly allergic to seafood & shellfish. Dazu werden verschiedene Teige und Ergänzungsmöglichkeiten genannt (inkl. wie man den Teig auf natürliche Art färben kann). Die verschiedenen Falttechniken werden bei jedem Kapitel mit mehreren Bildern genau erläutert und am Ende gibt es eine umfangreiche Zutaten-und Soßenliste. Und das Beste: die Zutaten werden nicht nur in amerikanischen Maßen (cups) angegeben, sondern auch in europäischen (gr und ml) angegeben, eine echte Seltenheit!Ich wünschte mir, jedes Kochbuch wäre so genau und umfangreich beschrieben. Ein super Buch und eine klare Kaufempfehlung! Wer es noch nicht hat, sollte es spätestens jetzt sofort bestellen, bevor es weg ist!
