Title: This grinder is great for spices.
Review: I needed to grind walnut, almonds , and pistachios . The pistachios did great. The other two were too thick and hard to grind as fine as needed.I was able to use my food processor for the walnuts and almonds.I ground seed, (chia, hemp, sunflower) and it was perfect.I am happy to have it. It is easy to use. Quick and convenient .

Title: A little disappointing
Review: I ordered this one because of the stainless steel tub, thinking that it would be easier to clean and not transfer the different herb flavors and smells between batches. First thing I tried was a dried cayenne pepper. Just the dried skins, no seeds at all. 4 or 5 per batch-not over filled for sure. It really struggled to get them all ground up, and took several minutes of doing and re-doing. I found it hard to get the area around the base of the blades clean, plus the removable rubber gasket around the inner lid stained red. I finally decided to try grinding salt to try and clean the blades. That worked pretty well, but I had to make sure to clean out all of the now pinkish salt residue. The brush that comes with it is helpful.Next I tried stevia, and the softer leaves did grind to powder better, although there were still some small fibers that wouldn’t powder up. Too late to return this one, because definitely shows its use after only 30 minutes and 2 products, but I’ll be ordering a different grinder for sure.
